They promised not to cause a scene after the consequences were over— but Donghyuck just had to lose his temper and throw tantrums in front of their dean's office, catching attention from the students who were having their break. Thus, rumors about them as a group were spreading around and they became famous in an instant.
For the wrong reasons.
"What's that on your neck?" Renjun asked when he saw a certain someone walking towards his usual table with the two.
Regardless, the issue that revolved around these troublemakers caused them to get closer and formed a bond. Some may still be having bad blood, like Jisung and Donghyuck, but others were getting along well, like Chenle and Mark who kept on talking nonstop. The campus may be talking shit about them, but at least they had each other to know what the situation truly was and why they got violations.
No vacant seat anywhere inside the cafeteria (or he just simply didn't want to sit with judgemental students), Donghyuck placed his lunch tray down the table which was occupied by students whom he got close with after their duty the other day.
"A mosquito bit me." Donghyuck answered.
"A mosquito?" Jaemin paused from feeding himself when he found that alibi quite odd.
Jeno stared at the mosquito bite to inspect it closely if it really was what he said it was to be. "That big? That's a whole ass bruise."
Renjun could smell the lie from that sentence, but he wasn't able to interrogate him further when a pair suddenly arrived at their table not seconds after Donghyuck was put in the hot seat.
"All tables are taken. We'll sit here." Donghyuck's worst nightmare, Park Jisung, then walked up to them, placing his and his partner's tray down the table to join them.
Holding a grudge, Donghyuck was in the mood to annoy him. "Like you."
"What?" Jisung raised a brow at him, not understanding the context of what he's saying.
"Just like you, you're taken." Donghyuck may not know him well, but he could tell that this guy is quite reserved. That he wouldn't want anyone meddling with his business.
His hunch was right. Even if it did sound like good news to be in a relationship with someone he's been crushing on since God knows when, Jisung didn't want people to be nosy about it. "Oh, shut up—"
"Yeah? At least I can shout to the world and admit that it's Jisung who made out with me and not a vacuum cleaner." Chenle finally stood up for him. "Rather than obviously lying about that mosquito bite."
Donghyuck was caught off guard by Jisung's company talking back to him, thinking that it was just their argument alone. Not knowing what to say, he turned to the three that were sitting across him at the table.
