However, despite the three getting comfort from the people around them, they still continued to mourn over their heartbreak and still questioned their self-worth. Donghyuck appreciated how from time to time Mark would check up on him and annoy him in a sense, but there would be times he'd be bothered by the situation he is in. He didn't know if it was pity for himself, anger towards his ex-boyfriends, or both. Jaemin and Jeno still weren't on good terms and despite finding out how much of a dick his ex-boyfriend was, he can't help but hope that things might go back to the way it was. Thankfully, Renjun is always there to give him a reality check while also being busy fixing their friendship.

Chenle... Well, he might have realized a thing or two. However, that only added up to his pile of thoughts.

A thought for example, has Jisung been this attractive? Like attractive, attractive.

Feelings-attached kind of attractive.

"Hey, it's been a week." Jisung fixed his polo shirt while staring at his roommate's reflection in the mirror he's standing in front of. "Are you still not going to attend your classes?"

Chenle only snapped out from his thoughts when he heard him speak, his voice echoing inside their quiet unit. "I'll skip."

"Like what you have been doing these past days." While being busy putting his books inside his bag, Jisung glanced up to look at his emotionless friend. "Le—"

"It's just a break-up, I know." What Chenle didn't want to admit is someone else bothering his thoughts. It made him actually ask a question towards that person. "Ji, am I not lovable?"

Jisung let out his nth sigh for the morning. He honestly missed talking about what to eat for lunch and what they will do after classes. He felt like he'd go deaf hearing the same thing over and over again for the past days.

But it's Chenle. No matter how pissed Jisung is, he can never lash it on him. "You deserve all the love in the world, Le."

That wasn't what he wanted to hear but then again, what did Chenle actually expect to hear? He knew his feelings were acting up and he knew he had this toxic trait of getting attached when someone is being nice to him. With the situation he's going through, he didn't want to mix it up with how he sees Jisung.

They're friends, that's all there is to it.

Jisung was the only one he's been with these past days. He's the only person Chenle was being an emotional mess to, and the only one he opened up to. Maybe he just felt (slightly) lonely that he'd be left alone in their dorm because the other one decided to attend classes.

"I'm going. I'll be back probably at around six." Jisung walked up to his roommate that's on his bed, carrying his bag with him. "Want me to buy dinner?"
