Hatter's POV

I was with Alice and Lilith at the bar drinking our drinks and having a normal conversation. Today, Alice, our team and I decided to meet up with the Sabertooth members that we met when we fought the 20 dark guilds. It was still in the morning so Alice and I figured that we wouldn't have to be in such a rush. We planned to meet up with the Sabertooth members at 11 o'clock near the train station.

When it became 10:45, Alice and I agreed to finally leave the guild and head over to the station. We went into an alleyway so that no one would see us opening the portal that was going to take us to the station. Alice opened up a portal and I jokingly said to her, ladies first. She lightly giggled and replied with a curtsy as she made her way through. As we both went in, the portal closed and we were encased in the familiar galaxy pattern. We made it out of the portal and stepped out to see that we were in another alleyway. As the portal closed, Alice called out her spirits and we all started heading toward the station.

As we got there, we didn't see Sabertooth yet so we decided to wait and sit on a bench until they arrived.

After 10 minutes of waiting, we saw Sabertooth coming toward us with smiles on their faces. We waved to them, well, more like Alice waved to them, and they waved back. They soon reached us and we casually exchanged greetings. We all soon decided to go to a local park to pass the time and talk.

We arrived at the park and watched as little kids were running with each other and playing games. One almost bumped into my leg while he was running and looking backward at his friends.  But before that happened, I picked him up and gently put him down as I said, "Remember to run while looking forward!" I smiled and waved as the boy smiled and kept running with his friends. Alice looked at me with a happy gaze and I smiled back at her.

We then went over to a picnic table and sat down. I sat down next to Alice on the right and Cheshire on my left. Our team and I sat on one side of the table and Sabertooth sat on the other. We soon started to talk and get to know each other better. Alice was talking to Minerva about clothes and was talking about good shops to go to. They both had sparkles in their eyes when the topic of jewelry popped up. They seemed to be the closest out of everyone there.

As for me, I was busy talking to Sting and Rogue about missions and magical beasts. Sting started talking about the mission that he took with Rogue recently and started going on about how they cleared it. I listened to them tell their story and laughed at some parts. Rogue sometimes added information when necessary with a still stoic look. Overall, we all just had a good time and had fun.

Once it was around 12, we all decided to go and eat lunch somewhere. We all thought of places to go to, but we had trouble finding them, considering how large our group was. After a bit of discussion, we decided to go and eat at a market that Sabertooth mentioned. It turns out that there was a market that had food stalls and food trucks in the area. Since we were in Sabertooth's home town, we had the members of Sabertooth guide us to where the market was.

While we were walking, we passed by the famous arena where the Grand Magic Games took place, the Domus Flau. As we passed it, I saw Alice in the corner of my eye starting to have a saddened look on her face. She subtly walked over to me and started clutching my arm tightly. I looked down at her and quietly whispered if she was ok. She gave me a slight nod and looked back at the ground. I looked forward and kept on walking with Alice still clutching onto me. My team saw this and a look of understanding appeared on their faces for a brief moment. They soon returned to their conversations as if nothing happened so that they won't have Alice get unneeded attention. They also tried to distract all of the Sabertooth members and not let them look back at us. I smiled gratefully at them because I knew that Alice didn't want to talk right now.

We soon arrived at the market but Alice hadn't gotten much better. She was looking forward and not at the ground but she still didn't have a smile on her face. She was also still holding my arm. I didn't mind and we kept walking with the group to where we would get our food.

There were many food stalls and trucks with many different kinds of food. As I was looking around, one particular food stall caught my eye. It was a food stall that was selling cups of french fries and cups of Japanese styled fried chicken called karaage. I asked Alice if she wanted to eat the fries and chicken and she nodded.

We walked over to the stall and stood in line, waiting for our time to order. Once we got to the front of the line, I ordered one cup of french fries and one cup of karaage. The cashier nodded and told the other person working with them our order. The other person in the stall nodded and quickly gave us the 2 cups of food. I paid and we were soon walking to where the rest of our group was. I offered to share the meal with Alice and she smiled and nodded. I smiled to see that her mood had lightened up a little bit.

We arrived at where our group was and saw that many of them had gotten their food. I saw on the table many different kinds of food with many different kinds of drinks. I took a seat down near the end and Alice then took a seat next to me. I placed the food in between us and we both started eating the delicious meal. Before we left the stall, I grabbed two toothpicks so that it would be easier to eat the food. We were eating the food until somebody interrupted us.

We looked in front of us to see Sting looking at us with a grin. He then started talking with us with a smile on his face.

"What are you eating there?"

"We're eating some french fries and karaage. Do you want one?" I said as I picked up the cup with the french fries and tilted it to him. He smiled and took one fry.

"Thanks. You guys want a takoyaki?" Sting asked after he ate the french fry. He gestured to his takoyaki but Alice and I both politely said no. He smiled and ate one of his takoyaki.

"So, what should we do after this?" Sting asked. He said it loud enough so that our whole group could hear. Everyone stopped their conversations and started thinking of places to go. Suddenly, I got a great idea and looked towards the group.

"Why don't we go to our guild? It seems like we don't really know where to go next so why don't we go to our guild and spar each other? We have a place to train outside of our guild so we can fight each other."

"That sounds great! Count me in!" Sting immediately replied. The rest of our group nodded in agreement as they all started to talk to each other, excited about seeing all of the advanced fights that were going to take place. Alice was next to me, looking excited like as if she was going to fight someone there and then. I noticed that she was feeling better and was back to her normal self. She looked up at me and smiled at me with happiness and gratitude in her eyes. I looked down at her and gave her a smile in return.
