They still weren't close to her house yet and it looked like another storm was approaching. Todoroki stopped walking which startled Yaoyorozu out of her daydreams.

"What's wrong?" she asked.

"A storm is coming. And I think it's a big one," he said.

"Wait seriously? What are we going to do?" she said. She began cowering and he held her closer to him. She blushed but didn't push away.

"We need to find a sort of shelter. It wouldn't be safe walking through the storm," he said as he started scanning the area around them. He spotted a small hotel nearby and took off running. He held her close and held her tight. She wrapped her hands around his neck and held on and hoped he wouldn't drop her. They made it to the hotel and he walked in. There was no one in the lobby except the two desk ladies. Todoroki walked over to a bench and sat her down.

"I'll be right back," he said and made his way to the desk to check out a room for them to stay in until the storm passed.

While he talked to the desk lady, Yaoyorozu thought about her feelings. He held her so close to him she was sure she was going to faint. Then she thought about the lie she made so he would continue to carry her. Maybe if she faked a limp he would believe her. Todoroki then appeared next to her with a room key in his hand.

"I got us a room, C'mon," he said before picking her up again.  'This is unexpected,' she thought. She was sure she would have to fake a sprained ankle.

Apparently, he could only get a room on the second floor so he walked to the elevator. He made it to the doors when he stopped. He was thinking in his head how he could push the button without dropping Yaoyorozu.

"Oh! I got it," Yaoyorozu said before pushing the up button. He made his way inside and stopped at the button again.

"Which floor?" she asked.

"Two," he said.

She pushed the button and the doors closed in front of them. She could feel the elevator shaft lift upwards and stop. She heard the ding and the doors opened. Shoto walked out and started making his way to their room.

He found the room and froze again. How was he going to open the door?

"I can do it," Yaoyorozu said and held her hand up for Shoto to hand her the key.

"Um, the key is in my pocket. I'm going to have to set you down," he said.

Momo, a little sad said "Okay."

He carefully placed her on her feet and dug his hand into his pocket and pulled out their key. He opened the door and held it with his foot. He held his hand out to Yaoyorozu, who hesitated before taking it. 'Okay, try and fake a limp.' She made a step on her "sprained" foot and quickly stepped with the other. She walked a few more steps with Todoroki holding one of her hands and the other hanging close to her ready to catch her.

Yaoyorozu thought she would make it to the bed without any problem when she stepped on the "sprained" ankle weird and fell sideways. She braced herself to hit the floor but was stopped when a hand grabbed her waist and caught her. She opened her eyes to come face to face with Shoto. He was holding her in that dance pose couples do when the guy dips the girl close to the ground and sometimes kiss her.

She felt her cheeks burn as she started blushing. He started blushing too. They stayed in that position a moment, staring at each other. Neither of them dared to move. Yaoyorozu was almost not wanting the moment to end.

Then Todoroki slowly pulled her up back on her feet. They were almost the same height. He was just an inch or two taller. He hadn't let go of her waist or hand yet and they stood there staring at each other again, not wanting the moment to end.

Finally, Todoroki looked away and pulled his hand off Momo's waist. She made the slightest, whine when he did and they both froze. 'Did I really just do that?' she thought as she mentally slapped herself.

"Uh, are you okay Momo?" he said. He still hadn't let go of her hand and she was hoping he never would. She liked his touch.

"Um, yeah! Uh, thanks for, um, catching me," she said as she starting fumbling with the bottom edge of her shirt.

"Do you think you can make it to this bed?" he said gesturing to the bed just three feet away.

"Uh, yeah. I think I can," she said, still completely flustered and red.

She started walking again, faking a limp and made it to the bed. She sat down and Todoroki let go of her hand. She almost whined again but she caught herself this time. He stood in front of her and bent down to look at her foot.

Panic built up inside her. If he sees that her ankle isn't really sprained, he'll know she lied. She bit her nails as he tugged her shoe off and began examining her foot. What felt like forever passed and he stopped.

"Your ankle isn't sprained Momo," he said and looked up at her. Then he noticed how nervous she looked.

"Are you alright?" he said as he stood up.

"Um, well I, uh, I told you my ankle was sprained so would, um, continue to carry me?" she said, biting her nails when she finished.

Shoto stood shocked. He didn't know if he was supposed to feel mad or, happy. She liked it when he carried her? She looked so embarrassed when he did. He was about to grab her hand but he stopped himself. What is this feeling? Why do I want to be so close to her?

He caught himself staring at her lips. She looked up at him to see his shocked expression and he looked away.

"Are you mad at me?" she said.

"What? No!" he said really fast.

She looked at him with a confused face. Man, she was adorable. 'Wait what?'

"Um, you know you could've asked me to carry you. You didn't have to lie to me. I honestly thought you looked a little embarrassed when I was carrying you. Your face was red and you kept hiding your face." As soon as he said, it dawned on him.

Did she, like him?

Yaoyorozu's face was bright red now, and Shoto noticed.

'Does he know?' she thought.

'What do I do?' he was panicking. At the practical exam, it seemed he had been shot with a love arrow. He could sense the feelings he was feeling for her, but he tried to hide it. He doesn't know how to love someone. He watched the way Endeavor treated his mother. He didn't want to end up like him.

"Shoto, I-"

"Momo." she stopped talking.

"Do... do you like me?" he said.

Yaoyorozu was biting harder on her nails. She was avoiding his gaze and her face was bright red. She felt Shoto grab her hand and turned to face him. He was looking at her. He didn't look mad. He looked.... she couldn't place it. Did his face look red? Was that just his burn? So many things were going on her head at that moment she couldn't think straight.

"Momo," Todoroki said again. He grabbed her other hand and held it. She stared into his two different colored, beautiful eyes.

"Y-yes," she said softly.

Shoto didn't move. He was stuck in shock. 'Someone likes me? And it's Momo!' he thought. He didn't realize he was smiling until Yaoyorozu said something.

"Why are you smiling?"

He chuckled. "Because I like you too Momo."

Yaoyorozu stood up so fast from the shock she hit her head against Shoto's face. She covered her mouth and grabbed his shoulders.

"Oh my gosh oh gosh are you okay? I'm so sorry!" she said.

He only chuckled and looked back into her eyes. She stopped and looked back. His hands somehow found their way to her waist and she had wrapped her hands around his neck. He smiled down at her but she didn't. He looked at all the small features of her face until he stopped at her lips. Her mouth slightly hung open. His hand moved slowly to her chin and he pulled her face closer to his.

Their faces inched closer until their noses were touching.

"Shoto," Momo breathed before their lips met.
