The next morning Todoroki woke up later than usual. He assumed the events that took place last night took a toll on his energy. He quickly rubbed the sleep out of his eyes and reached for his phone. After blinking away the sudden blindness of his phone he read a text from Yaoyorozu saying she was allowed to leave the hospital at noon once the doctors had made sure everything had been checked. Todoroki's heart buzzed with excitement. He looked at the time to see it was almost 10:30. That meant Yaoyorozu could leave in about an hour and a half. With that in mind, Todoroki quickly changed into some clean clothes and hurried downstairs to grab a quick breakfast.

After grabbing a quick snack he hurried to the door where he was stopped by Iida.

"Where do you think you're going?" he demanded.

"To see Yaoyorozu at the hospital. She gets out today," Todoroki said.

"You shouldn't be leaving the safety of the school grounds right after an attack. Especially since you haven't been treated for injuries! You should stay and wait when she's released," Iida said, waving his hands in the usual chopping motion.

"I was barely damaged from the fight and feel fine. I am going to see Yaoyorozu and you can't stop me so don't even try." And with that, Todoroki opened the door and hurried down the path to the front of the school with an angry Iida yelling at him from the dorms.

Todoroki was anxious the whole time he walked, even when he was right in front of Yaoyorozu's room. He took a deep breath, trying to calm his nerves. 'It's just your girlfriend. She's going to be fine you don't have to be so nervous.' With a shaky hand, he knocked on the door.

"Come in!"

Todoroki opened the door to see Yaoyorozu casually sitting in her bed reading a book. When she looked up at him, her face lit up and she quickly closed her book and set it on the table next to her.

"Todoroki!" she cried.

Todoroki quickly closed the door and ran to Yaoyorozu, who pulled him into a hug.

"It's been so boring without you here! I'm so glad you came!" she said.

"Well, I left as soon as I woke up," he said, taking her hands in his.

"How did I fall for someone as sweet as you?" Yaoyorozu said laughing.

"I don't know but I'm grateful you did," Todoroki replied with a smile.

They started to lean for a kiss when a nurse cleared her throat. Todoroki jumped back and Yaoyorozu squealed from the scare. They both turned to the nurse with red faces, not realizing she was there.

"I'm sorry to interrupt the moment but I need to attend to Ms. Yaoyorozu for a moment," the nurse said.

"Do I need to leave?" Todoroki asked.

"No. I just need you to stand over here so you don't get in my way. A doctor should be coming in soon to release you from the hospital and you can head back to UA," the nurse replied and walked over to Yaoyorozu picking up a clipboard.

"Oh, okay," Todoroki said and quietly walked out of the nurse's way and found a chair he could sit in where he watched the nurse write a few things on her clipboard and walk around Yaoyorozu asking her questions. Soon a doctor arrived and talked with Yaoyorozu. Todoroki didn't pay much attention to what was happening and instead texted in the group chat Yaoyorozu had set up with most of class 1-A. Everyone was concerned about Yaoyorozu's health but he assured them she was okay.

Finally, the doctor left the room after telling Yaoyorozu she was free to head home. The nurse shooed Todoroki from the room while Yaoyorozu changed. A few minutes later, Yaoyorozu walked out of the room with her stuff in a bag. The nurse said goodbye and together they walked out of the hospital back to UA.
