Chapter 4

Mason's point of view.

Where better to find a vampire than in a school... Part of the school's werewolf here and the other part's vampire... The few humans are rare.

I walked to the school where Eric and Logan were going. I knew Aron wasn't at school, but I knew his "Sister" was. Carmen was at school. She had to be.

I saw a mind blowing beauty sitting at a table where some guys were sitting. I walked upto her.

'Hey, it's no pets allowed.' she said. I raised an eyebrow.

I hated it when people made fun of me being part wolf... it's wolf not dog or pup or anything... I mean Come on!

'I need your brother, sweetie.' I said in my deep voice. She smiled at me and face me. She touched my face and I inhaled her stinking smell of rotten flesh.

'And why? We want your Alpha's daughter, we don't get her either.' she said. I am an Alpha too! But because of my age and stuff I didn't look like an Alpha. I was. Really I just bonded with the pack of Alpha Thompson....

'Alpha Thompson wants to make a deal, because of the dirty trick Aron played.' I said in my Alpha tone. She pretended to be turned on and pulled me closer to her so she could sit on the table. She inhaled deeply and squeecky.

'Really?' She smiled. I just let it happen while some humans were whistling.

'Really, meet us at 11 pm in the woods. You will find us. We'll be wearing our famous eau de Toilette... Espacially for you.' I said and turned around.

I walked back to the car and thought about my future. I hoped that the deal included me being around my mate. She wouldn't recognize me as my mate because she was not 18 yet, but she had to feel some sort of connection between us. The spark I feel when she speaks to me. The burning feeling when she looks at me and the numb feeling when she smiles at me. I have been watching it for 6 years in August. Ever since my grandfather bonded the two packs... We collided, but said that in mind we would still be two leaders, so that no one would be betrayed. We would just get along.

Then My grandmother died of cancer. She was just human, but because of that loss, my grandpa didn't last very long and died 4 months later... Some said it was suicide, others say it was just because he was old...

Waiting. She was in the car behind me and I know she wasn't awake. She was as asleep as yesterday. What would her bodylotion be like? How would she put it on? In the shower? Then she is naked...

'Mason!' I heard my beta Hector scream. My cheeks turned red... O my God I just had an image in my head that was wrong as hell...

I looked and saw Carmen and another dude in a tree. It was James...

'We want Aron.' Alpha Thompson demanded. I slicked.

Aron appeared. It was fast but he was here. 

'We want to make a deal!.' Frederik said.

 Our packs were all here. Some in human form, some in wolf form. 

'I want my daughter to have a chance, so I came here for a deal.' Frederik said desperatly. Aron started laughing and walking around from left to right. Then he turned around.

'Did you hear that? Alpha Thompson can't take it anymore, so he's asking us.... US...THE Vampires... to make a deal...' He laughed and turned back to Frederik.

'Guess, you must be very desperate.' Aron said low and soft... I could here everything.

'Listen. EVERYONE listen!' Frederik said.

'You get my daughter.' he said. What?! NO! NO NONONONONONONO!

'But you have to promise me you will bring her back for one time at her 18th birthday,... human. She will decide wether she wants to be with you or not. You will get her.' Frederik said. Aron laughed.

'Dad, you're desperate. But yeah, what's up with the 18th birthday anyway? She gets to see different movies wow! Vampire movies... but yeah, I will not turn her in a vampire,... fine with me... until she's 18 of course.' he whispered. I clenched my teeth and wanted to hiss, but I knew they could hear me. I wanted to scream so badly, but it made no point.... After all, it was her decicion...

'Deal?' Frederik asked. No... no deal...

'Deal.' Aron said and walked over to me. I was in a killing state of mind. He raised an eyebrow.

'You okay?' he asked and opened the door and grabbed her.

'Cioa.' he said and disappeared with her in his arms... My mate... My world...

My love Layla had disappeared.
