Mason's point of view

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I threw her on the ground. I realized that hurt so I stared in the dark to a hole... I was busted... Christina was in the door opening.

'Mason, what are you doing...? Oh,.. And?' she was kidding, right? I couldn't believe she just walked in.

'What the fuck?!' I heard Layla say. I smiled at Christina. She really just ruined the moment, but my innocent inner human, could control the situation. My wolf was ready to fight, but too tired to succeed. Layla climbed back on the bed. I pulled her towards me, my eyes locked on Christina. I pushed Layla in a very uncomfortable position.

'You're hurting me.' Layla said. I smiled locking my lips together. Christina shook her head.

'Mason,..' she chuckled. My smile slowly disappeared.

'Act like an Alpha, not a sixteen year old human boy.' she said and went away. I slicked. That hurt. I wanted to be a human, not sixteen, but human. Not part wolf at least. I looked at Layla who was too tired to continue. I hummed.

'You just ruined the moment.' Layla weakly said. I chuckled. I felt myself cool down. My wolf was way too tired. We were making out a minute ago, almost jumping to the point of satisfaction and now we're here... completely awkward and tired as hell...

Remember that she was dating Aron just a couple of hours ago... Damn...

'I don't want to stop.' Layla moaned.

'Guess we already stopped honey.' I said very dry and sober. I stood up and grabbed my clothes. I noticed something... That went TOO quickly...

Something really got to me that shouldn't ever get to me. The feeling of unstability... The feeling like... shit! I guess I was too tired to think. Too tired to even feel anything... What about Layla? She was fragile... underweight,.. lost her father a couple of hours ago... was faced with horror and got a lot of information... She must be soooooo confused and just wanted to get it over with... This was not her battle. This was my battle!.

I looked around and saw her laying all over the bed which made it impossible to fit another person somewhere on the bed.

I smiled and went to my room... hopefully everything was going to be alright..

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I woke up around 10 in the morning... I walked downstairs and everyone was looking at me. I lifted my nose and looked wondering at some of my friends or pack members or family or acquaintances... Something happened... I felt the presence of my mate upstairs, so nothing there... My wolf was getting a bit angry and Alpha-ish inside me. I looked around and stopped.

'Is someone going to talk?!' I demanded loudly. People didn't dare to speak. I walked up to my beta. He slicked and looked very hurt.

'Mason, I want to adress them.' Nate said to me. I frowned.

'Is someone going to tell what the fuck is happening.' I said a bit more angrier, but a bit softer. Mason slicked.

'They were inside last night.' Nate slowly said in his very low tone. My wolf was ready to attack. I looked at the pack... almost 35 people in total... We lost about 6 including Layla's dad. I felt Nate touching my arm. I growled.

I pushed him away and entered the kitchen...
