'Goodmorning pups!' I heard Aron say. His red eyes were pretty visible in the darkness. Some of the younger pack members hid behind their mother's, friends or me and Nate.
'Who's next? Oh,.. I know... Katelynn!' Aron's now high pitched voice said. Katy was with Eric. Katy didn't want to go,.. clearly...
'Katelynn,.. you can just tell me now,.. or you will go through the same thing Logan did.' Aron said reaching out for her through the bars. Katy hissed at him and started crying.
I couldn't move, something was wrong with me... I could think,.. But it was controlled,.. I could move but that was controlled.
'Mason, bring Katy to me please.' Aron said as he turned around.
It felt like a switch was turned on. I knew he had a power over me. Something I had to figure out how to break. I walked towards Eric and Katy, but Eric was in for a fight.
Nate tried to hold me back. I think I was numb. I didn't realize what I did. But... I did.
I had Katy's wrist clenched in my grib... She was in pain and as I focussed on the ground Eric was there... injured... badly... Why was this happening to me? I'm the Alpha....
Aron was stronger,.. I had no choice!
PLEASE stop it! Aron wasn't stronger! He couldn't be.
But he was... I brought Katy to the door and Aron opened it. He grabbed Katy. He chained her a few feet away from the cell...
What was he going to do. Aron focussed on me. His eyes were blood red...
'Mason,.. please... help us.' Nate whispered. His hands were covered in blood. I looked at Eric,.. he was alive,.. just alive... Even though werewolves do heal fast... This was permanent...

'Maybe she has left already.' Nate said.
'Did she get the note?' Katy cried. What note?
'What note?' I demanded. Nate was angry with me.
'Mason, go away.' Nate said. I felt my stomach I hadn't eaten for days! I looked at Eric, Katy was on his lap but he was hurt,.. Eric was happy but hurt,.. physically hurt and mentally happy... happy Katy was alive.
'Katy, don't worry... We'll know if they caught her.' Nate assured her.
'But what if they did?' Katy asked sobbing...
'Katy, they won't.' Eric said. I slicked... I was not allowed to think of her... Not with Aron in my mind... Stop Mason! STOP! He'll know!
'It's going to be fine.' Nate said. I looked at the children sleeping. The youngest one was 11. There were almost no children born these last years... I mean... Really not in our packs... Katy's baby would be the first one... FYI Aron, that's a pup... a baby werewolf or baby dog, if we're speaking right now. I'm not a pup... or a baby,... I'm an Alpha... and stuff...
You know how weird it is to have conversations with yourself? Pretty weird.Espacially when no one is talking back.
I looked at Nate... he had crolled to his mate. It made me feel comfortable when my beta was with his mate. Nate leaned in and gave Dori a kiss... It must be hard for him. Controlling his inner wolf... I mean I was with my mate 2 days... I was almost not able to hold myself together. That's when the door opened.
'MASON!' I heard Aron scream. I slicked... Oh shit...
Aron opened the door and grabbed my throat.
'YOUR MATE?!' Aron was filled with Anger, evil and revenge. Something let loose of me... SOmething didn't overpower me anymore.
Aron was controlling me... It had something to do with his eyes... I was sure...
'WHERE IS SHE?!' Aron screamed. He dropped me and ran out the room... Bipolar 101?
I gasped for air....
'So, Layla is your mate?' Nate asked to confirm everything.
'No shit, captain obvious...' I replied. I could feel myself again. I felt like there was no wall anymore. I stood up. I grabbed the bars and tried to pull them as far apart as I could,.. but the hole wasn't big enough for me to pass.
'Damn Mason...' Felishia said. Something started to annoy me about her. That's not very good....
Something was so weird...I know it had something to do with my mate,.. but that's it. I didn't know if it was good or bad, if it was good for me or not... If she was alive... wait.. yeah... she was alive. I had the feeling something weird had happened.. Aron didn't find her, did he?
I hope not.
'Mason what are thinking?' Nate asked.
I don't know....
