Beep. Beep. Beeeeeeeep.
Shutting the alarm off, she slowly sat up on her bed, her eyes still closed.
The rays of light filtering through the off white curtains slowly highlighted her features, and so did it on the person lying next to her.
He slowly groaned before going back to sleep.
She smiled a bit looking at him, then got out of the bed, pulling the curtains closed, walked towards the bathroom.
After a shower and doing her morning routine, she went downstairs dressed in a simple grey pants and T-shirt.
It had become a routine for her, to wake up every day almost an hour before he woke up, preparing his breakfast , getting his suit ready and then wake him up, she almost felt like a house wife even though she was just a live in girlfriend.
"Wake up, it's already morning come get ready let's have breakfast Jun... "
Hearing her sweet voice, he shuffled a bit before sitting up in bed, a bored expression on his face.
She expectantly waited for him to say something, she had tried hard to make the breakfast today..
But there was nothing... no words, no smile, nothing...
After a silent breakfast, he left, giving her an empty kiss on the cheek and mumbling a low goodbye.
It had been like this for the past one year.. no words, no cuddles,
Not even a proper talk..
It had been months since she had seen him behave like the early days.
It's okay, he must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed today....
Seungwan tried to constantly le her self as she cleaned up the empty dishes.
But she knew it wasn't.
Deep inside she had been pushing away all her insecurities, worries and pains thinking that she might be over thinking.
He was different now, he didn't even look at her the same way, she knew that, but... she couldn't live without him.
He had become her life in the past seven years, and she could not imagine even a day without him.
She knew very well that she wasn't the same as earlier, he had made her leave all her part time jobs once he got appointed.
She hadn't even met her friends since last two years, going out for recreation had become a scarce occasion.
And once her college finished , she had concentrated only on helping Junhoe achieve his dream.
At he present age, people used to go for clubbing, parties, work and achieve their dreams.
But she here she was, her social life almost nonexistent as she had become extremely self conscious about her now chubby figure, but still she didn't complain, atleast he was their with him.
And about achieving her dream......
She had left that thought long ago.
Growing up it was what her life revolved around, all her fantasies filled with her standing on a stage in front of a huge audience , singing with all her heart.
But as adulthood arrived along with its responsibilities and life hit her with its harsh realities,
Her little oasis of fantasies dried up, vanishing. And she no more thought about it.
Now all her life revolved around was him.
And she didn't mind as long as he was with her.
Her friends had warned her multiple times telling that their relationship was like a dungeon for her, and with him not letting her find a job also, their hate towards Junhoe intensified.
And that's why she avoided letting them and him meet.
Like today.
It was already afternoon when Yeri called her telling that they were having a little reunion as their friend Jennie, who was in New Zealand for last three months was returning and she had been warned that her absence would lead to harsh results.
So here she was, waiting in the cafe they had decided upon, her loose top and black pants a bright contrast to her friend's fashionable outfits.
The evening was fun, it had been long since she enjoyed something like this.
Even though she didn't really understand their work related talks, her friends were kind enough to talk those topics as well that interested her.
"Seungwan... are you still with him? "
Irene asked a bit nervous about her question."Y-Yes....why? "
"N-No nothing.. "
Even though Irene's reply piqued her interest, she chose to not say anything."Ah.. So was that you that day in store with him? I thought it was someone else, that's why I didn't greet you Seu."
Rośe said as she took a sip of her coffee.
"What do you mean Ro? Which store do you mean, I don't understand what you are speaking about.. "
Seungwan was clearly confused.
"Yah! "
Jisoo suddenly glared at Rośe who looked at Lisa cluelessly while the younger girl shook her head."Just ignore her Seu, she keeps spouting nonsense ever since she met Jimin last night. "
Jennie tried to change the topic."Uh-huh right Unnie, Rośe hadn't been like that ever since Jimin asked her out. "
Seulgi too agreed."Yah! Don't put all the blame on him okay? "
Rośe squeaked. And soon the conversation shifted, even though their discomfort was not unnoticed by Seungwan but she chose to ignore it, like always..
