"Elsa?", I asked as I entered the nurses' room.

I looked around but I couldn't find her.

"Elsa, princess, stop hiding from me", I said and kept searching for her.

Suddenly, the door opened.

I turned around and stared at Danny's bright blue eyes.

"Kate! What are you doing here?", he asked.

"Hunt paged me. A young woman got shot and he needed my help", I explained quickly still searching for Elsa.

"Where's Elsa?", he wanted to know.

"If I only knew", I replied sarcastically.

"What do you mean?"

"I left her here at the nurses' room and now she isn't here anymore! I don't know where she could be..."

"Why isn't she at your dad's house?"

I sighed.

"We had a fight and I thought it was better to take her with me than..."

"Yeah, but now she's gone, Kate!", he shouted at me.

"I know, Danny! And you shouting at me doesn't make things easier...", I countered annoyed.

"I... I'm sorry, okay?", he apologized and forced himself to keep calm, "But we should search for her now!"

I nodded quickly.

"Ok!", I agreed and exited the room, "I'll look upstairs!"

I ran up the stairs. The other people stared at me like I was an alien. But I didn't mind.

"Elsa?", I shouted as I finally reached the fifth floor, "Elsa, princess, can you hear me?"

Nobody answered.

I sighed and felt my heart beat rapidly.

Where could she be? What if I couldn't find her?

Thousands of questions came to my mind.

Maybe, Nathan could help me searching for her. At least, he owed me a favor.

I knocked at his door.

"Nathan, I need your help!", I said as I entered his office.

I hesitated and stared at him.

He sat down on the ground in front of his table. Elsa sat on his lap playing with his tie.

"That's funny, isn't it?", he asked jokingly as she laughed.

"Nathan?", I gasped in the desperate need for some oxygen.

"Oh hey, Kate", he said as he looked up to me.

"Mummy!", she yelled and ran towards me.

I kneed down and hugged her tightly.

"You really scared me, princess", I whispered into her ear.

I pulled her closer towards me.

"Where did you find her?", I asked Nathan.

"She was playing in front of the ORs", he explained, "I just took her with me because I was pretty sure this gorgeous little girl belonged to you."

I softly kissed her forehead and smiled at Nathan.

"Thank you", I formed with my lips.

Then I looked back at Elsa.

"Why did you run away, sweetie?"

"I was bored", she answered.

I caught a glimpse of Nathan giggling.

"Never do that to me again", I told her and stood up holding her in my arms.

"She's as beautiful as her mother", Nathan whispered smirkingly and I couldn't hide I was blushing.

"Thank you so much", I thanked him again.

"Mummy, when will I see Nate again?", she asked curiously before we left his office.

"Well, Nathan is working really hard", I tried to explain, "I don't know if..."

"I promise, we'll meet again, little princess", Nathan said and gently kissed her little hand.

Elsa giggled happily.

"Come on, sweetie, daddy's waiting for you", I whispered and waved goodbye at Nathan.
