I smiled when I saw Gian running to my direction.

"Hi, baby." I leaned down and kissed his cheek when he reached me. "How's your day?"

"'twas (It was) ok, mamee." Gian answered and took my hand. Together, we headed to our house while he's swinging our hands. "Me saw a gweyt (great) movie with lola Mayan. 'twas called 'Aladdin'. Sabi ni lola Mayan, I should be as bweyb (brave) as 'im. 'pecially (Especially), in luurve (love)."

"That's great, then." I smiled. Disney movies ata trip ngayon ni tita Marian at hindi na Barbie. At talagang tinuturo na sa anak kong ang love eh halos kaka-three lang ng anak ko noong April 29. Hay, parang ewan lang. "Did you ate your snack? Your dad texted me. Di mo daw kinain ang lunch mo."

He grimaced when I mentioned lunch. "Eeeeh, mameee. The gulays taste so bad. I dun (don't) like it,"

Napakunot noo ako sa kanya. Ang anak ko talaga. Kahit gaano pa ka-mature mag-isip minsan, nangingibaw parin pagiging bata. "Di ba I told you to eat vegetables? How will you grow up handsome nyan?"

"I'm sorry, mamee. I will tly (try) to eat gulays next time."

"Good." I smiled at him. Then, I remembered my surprise. "Ok, Gian. Magbibihis lang ako then, pagdating maya-maya ni daddy, I have a surprise to tell."

At once, I saw his face lit up excitedly. "Oh, mamee. Can you tell me now? Pweaaaaase?"

I leaned down and kissed him. "Sorry, dear. We have to wait for dad. We don't want to spoil the secret, do we?"

Gian nodded. "Ok, mamee."

I smiled. "Now, go take a shower first before we eat dinner later." I told him.

"Manang Lorna!" I called. Hinintay ko munang lumapit si manang Lorna bago magsalita ulit. "Pwedeng pakihilamos na po si Gian?"

Tumango at ngumiti naman si manang Lorna. Then, together with Gian, they headed to Gian's room while talking animatedly. Gustong gusto ni Gian si manang Lorna eh. Kinukwento kasi mga kabulastugan namin ni Nathan noon. This was really enjoyed by the latter.

Umakyat na rin ako pagkatapos sa kwarto namin ni Nathan. While on it, nadaanan ko pa yung wedding portrait namin ni Nathan nung first wedding namin. You must be curious why I still haven't mentioned anything about our supposed-to-be wedding again. That's because, I only agreed to marry him our 8th wedding anniversary which is like three months from now. What's the reason? Nothing special but, the number 8 reminds me of the infinity sign.
