I just rolled my eyes and smiled at him. "Nathan, vertigo ang meron ako. Hindi ako buntis."

He just stuck his tongue out then took and squeezed my hand. I squeezed it back then returned to my draft project. Dapat kasing ma-pass to before midterms eh.

A few moments later, manang Beth entered the library.

"Ma'am Gi, may naghahanap po sa inyo." she said. "Sam daw po."

"Oh? Pakisabi nalang po bababa na ako."

Tumango si manang Beth tapos lumabas na. I heard Nathan sigh.

"Bakit?" I asked.

He shook his head. "Wala."

"Ay sus. Halika nga dito," I reached for his hand. "Puntahan na natin ang brokenhearted kong bestfriend."

He mumbled something I didn't hear.

"Ha?"

"Wala." he just said then pulled me out of the library.

We walked across the hallway holding each other’s arms. Pagdating namin sa may sala, I found Sam standing and staring at my wedding picture with Nathan.

"Best!" I called. "Napadalaw ka?"
