"Let's get out of this town, baby we're on fire

Everyone around here seems to be going down, down, down..."

"See? That crap doesn't always work."

"Well... I didn't know."

"You would've if you listened to me. You should take my words into account more often."

"Alright, Luci, alright."

Palutena and Lucina both stood in front of their first-period classroom, Palutena attempting to unlock the door with a little contraption she made. The teacher, surprisingly being able to lock it from the outside, left the class for a little breakfast before class started.

And of course, Palutena, being the desperate little woman to have her grades perfect, and Lucina, the girl who definitely didn't mind bending the rules a bit, were the perfect duo for this little act.

"Ah... hm.... Ah! Got it!" Palutena exclaimed, the tiny tool finally unlocking the door.

"Weird..." Lucina mumbled. Palutena looked back at her and smiled smugly.

The two girls walked inside the empty classroom, Lucina closing the door behind her. Palutena didn't hesitate to jump over to the laptop on the large desk.

"He doesn't have a password set up?"

"I guess not." Palutena snickered.

Lucina let the girl be as she wandered the classroom. she glazed her hand over each of the desks, deciding where she would sit today. Probably somewhere in the back... so Ganon won't be all up in her face if she was a bit too suspicious.

The bluenette looked back at the other girl, keeping a steady, discrete gaze.

Palutena definitely wasn't the first girl Lucina liked. In fact, some would be pretty shocked at the other girls she hooked up with.

But besides that, Palutena definitely didn't like her back at the moment. 'You're my best friend' and 'the closest friend I've got' was only a small part to the evidence.

"You almost done?!"

"Uhh, yeah! Gimme a sec." Palutena responded, her phone taking several pictures of the answer key of the test they'd be taking pretty soon.

Lucina made a tisk sound before resuming her little venture around the desks.

She stopped at Rosalina's, who was in the middle of the class.

Something was definitely wrong with this girl.

Literally.

Or not exactly... I guess this was pretty normal.

Even if it was a tiny prick of blood, Rosalina would freak out.

Literally, freak out.

It was definitely from something that happened in the past.

Was Lucina ever going to bring this up with her? Probably not. Even if she tried, Rosalina would just run away from it. Daisy seemed to have some knowledge of what was going on, but it was probably her sworn-duty not to say anything.

"Alright."

Lucina turned to look at Palutena. They shared a short gaze at each other for a few seconds before Palutena gestured to the door.

"Let's go."

They walked out of the room, Lucina quickly locking it before the walked down the hall, Palutena trying her best to act casual and Lucina calm as usual.

Right at the front door of the school, before Lucina could push it open, the door swung open from the other side.

"What're you two doin?"

"Hello, Ganon, sir..." Palutena waved.

"Answer the question, will ya?"

"I had to use the bathroom," Lucina responded blandly. "What, am I supposed to hold it for the next thirty minutes?"

"I didn't ask for a side of sass, young lady."

"I know," Lucina replied, stepping out of the building holding Paluena's wrist.

"Thanks, I guess," Palutena said awkwardly. She was about to walk over to the parking lot where the others would be, but she stopped when Lucina appeared to be going the other way.

"Where are you going?"

Lucina hesitated. "Forgot some of my books at home... Probably not gonna be on time for class," Lucina was already walking. "I'll probably be there for second period, okay?"

"Ah- okay! See ya!"

Palutena waved as Lucian walked off, almost completely out of sight by now.

There was something off with her statement. It didn't have that straight off-the fly thing to it like their run-in with Ganon as much. She seemed a bit timid.

'She's probably gonna take a nap' Palutena thought.

Although Palutena didn't realize that the direction Lucina went wasn't the way to her house.
