Episode 6: Just Wondering,
Zelda sat on the edge of her bed in pure silence.
Her fingers tapping against her knee was probably the loudest sound at the moment. Should she even be in her house right now? It was broken into... and it's not like they took anything besides her phone yet... so it's possible that she could still have been on the list.
You really shouldn't be feeling lonely right now, idiot... she thought to herself.
Everyone seemed to be busy at the moment.
Link, Ike, Robin, and Marth were out doing whatever weird college guys do, Peach, Daisy, and Roy were at the beach... Palutena probably didn't want to be bothered at the moment... and Pit... who knows, but she didn't exactly care enough to wonder.
She opened up her phone and went onto her social media. One of the first posts that showed up was one from Roy. It was just an old picture of everyone from four years ago. Everyone.
Lucina, Samus...
Samus.
She hasn't talked to Samus since she left. Would it be okay to call her? Has it been bad that she hasn't? Or was it neutral because of how she left with whatever she called a goodbye...? Or no goodbye at all, anyway.
Zelda went into her contacts, and surprisngly, Samus was still there.
Her next actions were weird. She didn't hesitate to even call her. It was almost like she was desperate to talk to her. Her best friend. Her friend that was always there for her.
She waited.
And waited.
Until,
"Hello?!"
"S-Sam!"
"Who the hell is this?"
She probably deleted my contact... I mean it has been three years.
"I-It's Zel?"
"..."
"Do you re-"
"The hell are you calling me for?!"
"I... It's just been so long, and-"
"I don't have time for y-"
"I need someone to talk to right now..."
Samus sighed, loudly.
"Is everyone still bitching about what happened three years ago...?"
Oh god.
"Wh-what??"
"Look it was Lucina's time to go and mine time too-"
