Episode 14: Actions and Revelations.
"Pat?"
"He won't fucking answer the phone..." Palutena whines as she drops down onto the couch. "Seriously he can't just be ignoring me now, right?"
"Pit? Ignoring you? Damn things have really changed, huh?" Samus says almost mockingly. Zelda, Roy and Rosalina sit in an awkward silence as Palutena glares up at the other woman.
"Don't be like that when YOU'RE the one that ghosted everyone."
"You're gonna blame me for wanting to leave the town where all this shit happened?!" Samus argues back, her voice booming even louder than Palutena's.
"Without a word—"
"SORRY PAT BUT YOU'RE NOT THE ONE WHO GOT KIDNAPPED."
Everyone is taken aback, even Samus almost looks surprised at how much it escalated, although with these two, it was bound to happen.
Finally, it's Zelda that gets up between the two to say something.
"Look, we just need to focus on what's really important right now. Pit's missing again and no ones heard from him. Who was he with last?"
"Richter most likely. I have his number, I'll call him." Roy says as he gets up to receive his phone.
"Let's drive around and see what we can do." Rosalina suggests. Everyone agrees before walking out the door to Palutena's car.

It's Rosalina who drives instead, Palutena still being a little shaken up from earlier. Her head rests against the passenger seat in front of her as she watches her hands fidget in her lap.
Samus sits next to her(because that was a good idea), watching Palutena's nervousness grow by the second.
"Pat, it's okay." Samus finally says.
"No. No, it's not. I wasn't there for him. I haven't been for a while," Palutena's voice trembles.
"Palutena."
Palutena's gaze goes up to the mirror hanging between the driver and passenger seat. Rosalina meets her eyes, the blonde's eye(wait YALL I just fucking realized Rosalina has a WHOLE eye covered and she's driving 💀).
"We're all stressed right now. Whether you did something wrong or not that's not the point right now. We just need to find these two before anything else can happen,"
Palutena blinks. She only nods, slumping back down in her seat.
"Where are we going anyway?" Roy asks.
"We're..." Zelda starts, but hesitates before finishing her sentence. "We're gonna talk to Richter's grandpa, just really quick."
"HUH?!" Everyone besides Rosalina and Zelda say in unison.
Everyone knew Simon Belmont was weird. More than weird, creepy. Everyone who knew of the two being related felt bad for Richter, having to live alone with him.
"I know he's not the best person to go to but he's Richter's only family." Zelda says firmly.
"After that we can go to the police station and see what they can do."
"They won't do shit."
"Roy."
Everyone in the backseat bickers as Zelda and Rosalina quietly prepare.
Going to Simon Belmont's home shed a whole new layer of fear.
But it's the only thing they can do as of right now. They'll just have to hope for the best.

"Listen man, I'm sure it was nothing."
"It's always SOMETHING when she's distant, Ike." Link sneers.
Ike, Link, and Robin all sat on the small blanket laid out on the sand, the ocean crashing into the shore a few yards ahead of them.
"I know it's not my place to speak, but just trust Zelda. Even if somethings really going on, she'll know what to do."
Zelda had been more quiet lately, Link had noticed. She had this expression where it was blank, but he could see the worry and dread in it too. Link didn't want to press her about it, because yes, he did trust her. But as things have been escalating over these couple of weeks, he had to ask, right?
"Look come on, when the girl you love is bothered you HAVE to take her up on it. You two should know that?!" Link attempts to reason.
"I think you're talking to the wrong two people about girl issues, Link." Robin offers, both him and Ike shifting uncomfortably.
'Oh yeah...' Link remembered.
"I'll call her tonight, she told me she was busy for the afternoon."
"It's getting late out, let's start walking to the car." Robin says. Ike groans as the trio gets up, shaking off the blanket from the sand and packing it up as they leave.
"Why did we have to park the car so far..." Ike groans.
"Parking space... obviously."
"That was retorical, dumbass."
Robin tunes the others out, leading them to the car.
Robin is successful until he stops suddenly, seeing a familiar car up ahead.
"That's..."
"Well speak of the devil!" Ike laughs.
Up ahead in the car is Rosalina and Zelda, with Roy, Palutena, and someone else out of their field of vision in the back seat.
They stop as the car does too, slowing down in front of one of the houses in the neighborhood they're walking through.
"Zel?"
"Link?"
Everyone piles out of the car.
The couple walks up to each other as everyone else slowly makes their way over.
"What are you guys going here?" Rosalina asks.
"We're walking to our car, we were just at the beach... wait what about you guys?" Robin asks.
"We—"
"Wait, Samus?"
.
Everyone goes silent.
Link curses his mouth as Samus side steps out from behind Rosalina. Her gaze is on the ground as she signals a quick wave.
Link would turn to Ike if it wouldn't have been rudely obvious at the time.
"It's a long story..." Zelda mutters.
Before anyone could exchange any more words, the group hears a door slam.
They turn their heads to the house they stand right in front of. The door has been slammed open as a tall figure stands in the doorway.
"What's all this commotion." The figure asks.
Almost everyone is rendered speechless. Zelda pushes her way to the front.
"M-Mr. Belmont!"
Simon Belmont stands in the door way, his figure almost too big for the frame.
"W-we uh... wanted to speak to you? If that's fine..."
A quick moment that feels like forever passes through the group before Simon shifts on his feet, stepping to the side.
"Come in."
