Journey to Nowhere

Dedicated to my queen Lana del Rey

She was so lonely
She was a lonely little girl
Unrescuable
Trapped in her version of the world
Which she created on her own
Which only she can enter into
I don't let them enter
But meanwhile I want someone to enter
Fuck

Losing herself in her belied hopes, dreams, expectations
Of becoming a famous singer
Of being loved
Of finally getting happy
Because I thought it would become easier
Because I thought life has a happy ending...
Hahaha, how naive!

Drowning in the urges and wishes of her confused soul
Which all went into different directions
Because she had a war in her mind
Several legions representing her thoughts and emotions
Fighting down each other
And instead of structuring her mind
I became a big mess
And in the end I lost me in myself

Suffering from her desire to be loved
Suffering from her want to arrive somewhere, anywhere
She was restlessly searching for something she didn't even know about what it was
A silly little girl...

Stuck in between of her wish to arrive
And her urge to go on with searching
Because she was a creature of the unusual, the unfamiliar, the abnormal
Condemned to an endless journey without any chance to reach
Because I don't even know my goal
I'm just straying through the jungle

Finally she met the man who offered her his money, his love, his life
It wasn't important that she wasn't the only girl
It wasn't important that he was an old man
It wasn't important that he was criminal
Because she found someone who confirmed the existence of her world
And the life she desired
A life between cigarettes, poker cards and dollar notes
Always on the run
Never arriving anywhere
But he loved her in his own way
He gave her what they couldn't
So she found herself taking a ride in his Cadillac with her heart-shaped sunglasses on
Filling her life with money, sex and flamboyance
And I was happy... in my own way
He was a bad old man, but he loved me
And I needed him
I was no longer a lonely little girl
I was his little girl
