She was the darkness and meanwhile the light
As she seemed like the day, her heart kept the night
So complex, so fascinating, so torn apart
That sorrow and fear possessed her heart
She didn't know that I preferred the deepness of night
Cause the day was too bright for my confused sight
Her words, her feelings, the whole way she was
Touched something in my soul which I declared to be lost
Unstoppably cut through my wall of defence
Causing my fear to make an appearence
Fear controlled her
Fear controlled me
And I felt torn apart between love and fear
If only she could see the inner turmoil she caused in me
If only she could see the feeling of joy which was her fault
If only she could see the feeling of safety which was her fault
If only she could see the feeling of fear which was her fault
If only she could see the feeling of longing which was her fault
If only she could see all the emotions which were her fault
If only I could show them to her
If only I could show her my inner tears
If only she could see what I feel
If only she could see my love.
