There was no communication between Izuku and Katsuki as they waited for their parents to arrive. When they did their parents went overboard with baby formula and diapers for the younger child. Izuku was so grateful as he didn't realized the perhaps the reason the baby couldn't settle was because it was hungry.
After Inko she made the baby bottle, she relieved her son of the baby. When the baby made a small sound during the transfer, her eyes watered till she started crying.
"Mom, please don't cry," Izuku asked, grabbing tissue for her.
"I'm sorry, I'm just shocked. And I know this isn't what any of you want to hear right now, but I'm so happy. We need to get them to a doctor immediately to check on their heath and make sure everything's ok," she cried.
Izuku wished he could share in his mothers happiness but he couldn't, his heart was broken. The love of his life was extremely unhappy.
Mitsuki approached her son, a ticking time bomb who was still pacing, with care.
"Where's the other 2?" Masaru, Katsuki's Dad asked.
"Sleeping," Izuku said mentally exhausted.
"She is so small, I hope I have the right size diapers." Inko told her son. "When you were this small you were only a few weeks old," Inko replied.
"You said she?" Izuku asked, confused.
"Yup she is a girl," his mom said checking her diaper again.
"What's on your mind son?" Mitsuki asked her son.
Katsuki ignored her.
Izuku bit his lip painfully as he stared down at the hardwood floor.
"So you said the woman's quirk manifest the deepest desires and despair of the two people she touches at the same time?" Masaru begin.
Izuku nodded.
"Telling from your reactions the children are what Izuku desires and they are what you fear the most son?"
Katsuki turned to his dad, then to Izuku. "We. can. not. be. parents!" He snapped. "We don't have the lifestyle for this. Anyone of us—hell both of us could be killed. They shouldn't be here! I should have gone out without you! They shouldn't exist!"
"But they are, son," Masaru stated.
"They shouldn't!" Katsuki snapped.
Izuku felt hot tears throw itself of ledge of his eyelids. After hearing how Katsuki's felt, caused his heart to ache. Where do they go from here?
"Honey," Inko said handing him the box of tissues.
"Kacchan, I'm sorry," Izuku said trying to stop anymore tears from falling.
"What are you guys going to do?" Mitsuki asked rubbing her sons back. For someone with strong opinions she was careful speaking at the moment.
"I'll take them. If it's too much for you both, I'll take them," Inko said as she burped the baby. Tears ran down her cheeks when she realized how those words affected her son.
"They are our grandchildren too, so maybe we can make arrangement that makes sense for everyone," Mitsuki told her.
"Hold on moms, I know that everyone's heart is in the right place, but I think we need to give these new parents a chance to figure out their emotions," Masaru interrupted, looking at his son-in-law who looked seconds away from killing himself. "I know that where my son is coming from is a place of fear, shock and changes he hadn't planned for. I'd say we give them a chance to decide on what they want to do with the children after spending time with them. No matter what they decided, I think knowing that we will be here for the children would help put a lot of their fears side."
