Chapter Thirteen

Izuku

Izuku was in the middle of watching a kids show and snuggling on the couch with his girls when his phone on the coffee table started blinking. The minute he sat up, Kiyoko, who was sleeping squirmed in his arms and Kaneki, who laid on his stomach with her thumb in her mouth, sat up before leaning back into the coach.

When Kiyoko started to cry, Izuku stood up to hush her as he walked to get his phone while glancing back here and there to see if Kaneki was ok. When he heard her little chuckle, he smiled and picked up his phone.

Izuku felt his heart sink when he noticed the location was sent from Katsuki. This distress signal went to Katsuki's whole team and Izuku. Sound faded all around him as he went into a series of panic. All he could think about was Katsuki and Junior, did something happen to them? Was Junior hurt, was he taken? Izuku wanted to go to them but could not leave the children alone. It was the second time in his life that he felt that he was at a disadvantage.

When Izuku heard Kiyoko's cry, he snapped out of his state of panic. He moved around to calm her while dialing Katsuki's number. When there was no response, Izuku took a deep breath and sent Katsuki's location to his team. When Katsuki's location was picked up by Izuku's sidekicks, Izuku took a deep breath. Yet, his anxiety couldn't be settled until he hears from Katsuki.

Anthony met with Katsuki's attack sending him and debris that hasn't caught on fire flying across the store. The explosion destroyed the aisles. It even created a hole through the shop, causing glass and products to scatter onto the sidewalk and into the road.

Startled, Junior tried to pull Katsuki's hand down to see what was going on, but Katsuki tightened his grip as he pulled off his coat to wrap Junior in it. Katsuki then scooped Junior up to go restain the villain lying lifeless on the ground. The very few customers who were in the store but a great distance from the drama scream and scattered.

As Katsuki approached the villains with Junior wrapped like a cocoon, all he could think about was how terrible of a father he was. And how Izuku and his parents were going to kill him for taking action while Junior was with him.

Yet, at the same time, he had no regrets. Especially knowing the guy was stalking his son. What Katsuki knew for sure was that if Junior weren't so shy and wandered off, they probably would have never seen him again.

Before Katsuki could reach the unconscious guy, a sound so loud shattered the remaining windows. Katsuki turned around to block Junior from the glass shards that blew inwards while trying his best to cover the boy's ears at the same time.

When Katsuki turned around, he saw approaching his subordinate, was Nanase. Worried Nanase would escape with Anthony, Katsuki forced Nanase back with blast after blast. All while trying not to lose his concentration whenever Junior went into a panic in his arms. When Nanase directed his sound waves towards them again, worried about the boy, Katsuki turned to run with him but stopped when a cube of energy formed around him. Shielding them from the attack.

When Katsuki saw that, he grinned, turning to find a few of his sidekick standing around him. When suddenly, their surroundings were lit by electricity, Katsuki was glad to know Kaminari was there. There was so much electricity that Nanase couldn't get close enough to Anthony.

"Sir, are you all right?" Rubic-xa asked.

"Yes," Katsuki replied, hurrying over to her and forcing Junior whom he could hear crying hysterically into her arms. "Don't let him see anything, and if something happens to him, I'll kill you."
