How We Met (Jenlisa)

Chapter 3

Lisa's POV

I am here at the Woobar. I smell the scent of alcohol as I go inside. People dancing covered with sweat and reeking with alcohol are all over the place. Well what do you expect on a bar like this Lalisa? As I roamed my eyes to find my Chaeyoung, my phone suddenly rang. It was Bambam calling me. They must be worried since I didn't show up at our next class a little while ago. I can't stand to be with Mina at the same room.

"LISA! WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU?!" Bambam shouted at me on the phone.

"Watch your words Bam!" Taehyung said. He was always like that. He always act as the eldest in our squad.

"There's no need to shout at me Bam." I chuckled.

"Just answer my question Manoban! Where are you? Wait. Are you at a bar?" His voice are full of surprise.

"Yes I am."

"Why you didn't invite us? You're rude Lisa!"

I can imagine him pouting right now. I smiled as I think about it. Why does my friends act like a five-year-old child sometimes?

"Next time. I'll invite you guys."

"If you want us to go there you know we can Lisa. We are always here for you." He said and I know by his voice that he is worried.

"Don't need to worry about me. I'm with Chaeyoung anyways. Call you back later! Bye!"

"Wai-"

He didn't finish what he is going to say because I suddenly hang up. I need to find Chaeyoung right now. I roamed my eyes again and I saw her at the corner. She's with someone else. Maybe her girlfriend?

"Yo pasta!" I said as I approached their table.

"Finally you're here monkey. What's with the sudden call? You okay?"

"Nope. I'm not." I said and smiled weakly at her.

"I knew it. That bitch again huh?" She said to me as her eyebrows furrowed.

"Yeah. But I'm done chasing her."

Her mouth agape. And I chuckled as I saw her reaction.

"Finally you're awake!!" she hugged me tightly and I almost lost my breath.

"Yah pasta. I- I can't breathe!"

The girl beside her giggled and that's the cue for pasta to let go of me.

"Oh. I nearly forgot that I'm with someone. Lisa this is Seulgi. My best friend since high school.  And Seulgi, this is Lisa. My monkey that I met online."

This girl always keep me calling monkey. I met Chaeyoung online and we instantly click maybe because that we are both crazy. Some of our common friends always ask us why we are not falling in love with each other. They found us sweet but it's just normal for the both of us. And besides I can't fall for her. She's not my type anyway.

"Hi. Nice meeting you Lisa" Seulgi said while offering her hand for a handshake.

I reached out her hand and my heart skipped a beat when our hands met. I was caught by her brown eyes and I almost forgot that I am holding her hand for such a long time.

"N-Nice meeting you too." I said and I immediately took off my hand from her.

She giggled. The fuck. Why did I stuttered? I saw Chaeyoung glaring at me. What the hell? I gave her a "what-did-I-do" look. She just rolled her eyes and order a bucket of beer.

It's our third bucket and I'm feeling a little tipsy now. Chaeyoung is still sober but Seulgi is feeling the way like I do. Actually, she is starting to be touchy on me and she suddenly switch from being nice to a flirt one. There are times that she was holding my hand as if we are together, sometimes she is putting my hand on her thigh or she's resting her head on my shoulder while laughing. I am not bothered by her actions because I'm single anyway. And maybe she'll help me to move on.
