Lisa's POV
Time flies really so fast. Everything happened so fast in just a blink of an eye. Only a month left and I will finally be graduating from college. Next stop? Board exam! I'll make sure that I will pass it in just one take. I want to ask Jennie to marry me already.
Our second anniversary is just around the corner and I'm planning to take her to Japan since she love that place so much. I already fixed everything that we need and I'm planning to tell her right after my graduation.
Like any other relationships, ours is not perfect. We have flaws and we fight a lot this past weeks even if the reason is just so small. I don't know what's happening to us but one thing's for sure, this is just another step to make our relationship stronger.
The car was silent even if Jennie is with me. I pick her up earlier from her work and something happened that cause us to have another dumb fight again. Some unknown person texted her and I went jealous because she doesn't want to give me her phone. Her reason is I would overreact which is true. But I really want to see who is that, just to keep my worries go away.
"Come on Jennie. Just let me take a look at it. I want to see what does that stranger said." I pleaded Jennie once again when we finally stopped at the front of her house.
"For what Lisa? For you to get mad and for us to have another foolish fight again? Haven't I told that was just nothing but a mere stranger? Maybe that stranger typed the wrong number so that's why it was sent to me." Jennie said.
"I know. I just want to see it to keep my worries away." I replied.
"Don't you trust me Lisa?"
I was taken aback by her question. I do really trust her and I really don't know what's gotten into my mind why I am acting like this.
"I do Nini. I really do."
"No you don't Lisa. You always keep on accusing me for something that I really don't do. Even if you cannot say it straight to me, I know that you're thinking that I'm cheating on you right?"
I fell silent on what she said. I guess she was right. My fear on being cheated has been eating me that's why we've got into a lot of fights. Honestly, this past few weeks, a day won't be done without us having a fight.
"See? I was right. We've been dating for almost two years Lisa. And you haven't trusted me yet? What the fuck." Jennie brushed her hair with annoyance.
"Mianhe." I said softly.
Another silence fill the atmosphere between us. No one dare to talk for a few minutes and its killing me.
"I'm tired." Jennie said.
I feel my heart suddenly beating in an abnormal rate. I don't know why but a faint pang of pain suddenly hit my chest when I hear Jennie said those words.
"Then y-you should g-go inside and take some rest already." I stuttered.
"No. I'm not tired from work. I'm tired of us having this stupid fights. Can't you see Lisa? We're not what we used to be. This relationship was supposed to be fun. I can't spend the rest of my life with you if you don't really trust me completely."
I can't utter a single word. My tongue seemed to be tied up. I keep on staring at the steering wheel trying to understand what Jennie said, word by word.
"I'm sorry Lisa, but I need to breathe." Jennie said before leaving the car.
The sound of the car door opening made me go back to my senses. I quickly got out from my car and followed Jennie. I held her wrist to stop her from walking away from me. I gulped a couple of times before starting to speak.
