Chapter 53

Jennie's POV

It's been three years since Lisa and I got back together. I can still remember clearly the sweet moment that we share at the café. Lisa called her parents that day telling them that she's going to stay. She bought a condo for her so that she can have a place to stay. She can't go back and forth driving from Haeundae to Seoul, which was very tiring. I tried inviting her to just live with me at my house but she refused.

Lisa was now working at a well-known electronics company and she's close on becoming a well-known engineer in the whole wide world. Well, she's already famous here in Seoul but she's aiming for the world.

Today we're supposed to celebrate our anniversary but that tall girl was nowhere to be found. I went here at her condo last night and when I woke up, there was no Lisa beside me. I was disturbed by a buzzing sound coming from my phone. I was hoping that her name would appear at the caller ID but it was Jisoo's instead.

"Hey Jen. I want you to meet someone." Jisoo said which made my eyebrows furrowed in an instant.

"What the hell Chu? Are you insane?"

"I already sent you her photo. Bye!" She replied before ending the phone call.

I bet Jisoo ate a lot of chickens which made her crazy. Out of curiosity, I checked the photo and guess what? It was my Lili. I was staring at her photo, full of confusion at my eyes.

"What's going on?" I muttered.

I was trying so hard to figure out what's happening when I suddenly received a text message from Lisa.

Lalisa Manoban:
"Hi."

Jennie Kim:
"Yah! Where are you?"

Lalisa Manoban:
"Are you gay?"

Jennie Kim:
"What are you talking about Lalisa?
Of course I am! That's why I'm your girlfriend.
Pabo-ya!"

Lalisa Manoban:
"Oh cool. You're pretty."

Jennie Kim:
"Yah. Are you going to tell me where the fuck are you or not?"

There was a sudden knock on the door. That must be Lisa since she didn't replied to my last message to her. I quickly run towards the front door but to my surprise, it wasn't Lisa, instead it was a man dressed nicely in a suit. He looks kinda familiar to me.

"Good morning Jennie-sshi. Lisa-sshi asked me to tell you that you should get ready." He said while bowing as a sign of respect.

Now I remember who he is. He is Carlos, the butler of Manobans. But what is he doing here?

"Get ready for what?" I asked.

"I can't tell you that. Lisa-sshi might got mad."

"Okay. Just wait for me. I'll be quick."

I run back inside and took a shower as fast as I can. I don't want to make Carlos wait for too long. That's embarrassing.

I noticed a white box at the side table of Lisa's bedroom. There was something written to it. It was my name. So this is mine?

I opened the box and saw a beautiful black lace dress together with a black high heels. Am I supposed to wear this? I hesitate a bit but realizing that there's someone waiting for me, I decided to wear them.

We are driving our way on a familiar road. This was the way towards Fritz. But why is he taking me there?

"Is Lisa inside?" I asked when we stopped right in front of the Fritz.
