With Zayn out of the house everyone slowly began relaxing. Harry's shoulders slumped a bit and he slid down the face of the counter so he was sitting on the floor. He brought his knees up, rested his elbows on his knees, and hung his head, letting out a long sigh. Kisten moved from her post by the doorway and positioned herself next to him and rested her head on his shoulder. He put in an effort to smile down on her and gently rested his head on hers for an extended second. Harry lifted his head and extended his right arm to Becca, motioning her over. She scooted across the linoleum and curled up under Harry's vacant arm.

"He's not always like that, love, you know that right?" Harry asked quietly into Becca's hair and gave her a small kiss on her temple.

"I know, has he done that before?" She whispered back just as quietly, "Was it me?" she added softly

"Only one time I can remember, and he came back crazy wasted, broke a few champagne bottles and crushed beer cans."

"Was he still with Perrie?" Becca almost choked on her name as the syllables came out of her mouth slowly.

"Yeah, that was when they had first started dating . . . Maybe when he gets back he'll have the fear of God in him to get his act together," Harry said. He reached up to use the counter to pull himself up. He walked over the the freezer and pulled out a bag of green giant frozen peas and gently touched them to his jaw. He held up his arm and Kirsten walked over to him. He wrapped his arm around her shoulders and ushered her back to the living room. I helped Becca up and Louis escorted both of us back. Louis "dropped me off" at the couch and he walked Becca over to the bedroom giving her a long hug in the doorway of the bedroom. I saw him whisper something to her and she offered an exhausted smile as she disappeared into the bedroom. I knew out of all the boys, Louis and Becca were closest, aside from Zayn adn Becca of course. Louis returned to the couch and we both fell into a restless slumber.

Sun poured in through the blinds and over the couch in excess as it illuminated the small living room. I glanced at the clock across from me, 11:04, it read. I slowly wiggled myself out of Louis' grip and padded across the living room. I gently pushed the door open to see if Zayn had ever returned, however, I only saw one body in the bed. I slowly backed out of the room, but not before I heard Becca softly call my name.

"Hey Bec," I called back as I lifted one leg onto the bed and sat down.

"Is Zayn here yet?" She asked groggily as she turned over to face me. I shook my head slowly in reply. "Will you come with me to try and find him?" She asked, slightly more awake now and beginning to sit up.

"Uh yeah sure, everyone else is asleep so we can just go I think," I said beginning to stand up from the bed.

Becca got ready quickly, pulling her hair up into a bun, tying on a pink bandana, a hoodie, and a pair of black jeans. We both crept out of the house with our phones in hand and a note on the counter.

The cool air broke over our faces as soon as we stepped onto the cement porch. Yet Becca didn't seem fazed, she had determination in her eyes as she skittered down the stair and onto the street in search for Zayn.
