The couch that we knew. The scratchy, patterned, technically fits two, love seat that everyone hated but refused to be rid of. It was part of our little family and we loved to hate it.

"Oh my god," Zayn said as he walked into our shared flat for the first time in almost a year, "we still have this damned thing?" He asked as he wiped his hands on his jeans and fell into the familiarity of the little love seat.

"Still hate it that much , eh mate?" Harry asked in his morning voice, it had been a long flight and everyone was just coming out of their sleeping trans.

"Yeah the thing's a piece of shit," Zayn said, addressing Harry while motioning for Becca to come sit on his lap on the couch.

"You love it and you know it, Zayn" Louis added, on his way to the fridge.

"Mate, this thing makes me hate this whole house, seriously," Zayn said as he pulled Becca by the waist onto his lap.

Kirsten and I walked in chattering about something on our phones and Louis motioned me over to the kitchen as Kirsten joined Harry on the lazy boy.

"So, what shall we do then?" Harry asked as Kirsten flopped down next to Harry. He took her hair in his strong hands and pulled it off her neck as she fanned herself with her hands.

"Dunno mate, for once, we really have nothing to do," Zayn said scratching his light stubble with his fingernails.

"We could watch a movie?" Becca suggested, swiveling her head so she could see Zayn. He shrugged in reply and looked at Harry and Kirsten expectantly.

"I like movies" Harry added as he placed his head on Kisten's shoulder and gave her neck a kiss, "What do you think, babe?"

"Sure, what movie?"

"THE FAULT IN OUR STARS" screamed Becca and Kirsten in union. I popped my head out from the kitchen long enough to give a disapproving glance.

"Oh my god" Harry said letting his head flop onto the back head rest of the couch as he rubbed his temples with his pointer and thumb, "not that movie . . . again, you watched it like 13 times on the plane."

"It was not 13 times Harry, my god" Becca shot back with a look.

"Babe, it was like at least 12," Zayn said from behind her as he rubbed her back with his fingernails. Becca rolled her eyes and hopped off his lap. She walked over the the small cupboard that housed our little compilation of DVDs that we had bought over the years.

"What about the Godfather?" Becca asked beginning to rifle through movie titles and laying them next to her in little piles of possibilities.

"Seen it too many times" Zayn said, sitting up on the couch as he watched Becca intently.

"I think I got Scream 4" Louis called from the kitchen.

"Okay," Kirsten said slowly looking at everyone else in the room

"Okay," everyone replied in union.
