Riley and the Doctor

Chapter 5

"Rise and shine its butt whooping time!" He said spinning around in my room.

"What?" I said with a smile and a light chuckle.

"Come on! Get up lazy bones!" He said to me.

I sat up and looked at him. “No.” i said and lied back down on my face.

“Riley! come...on!” he said. He grabbed me by my feet and dragged me off my bed. He picked me up and set me on my feet. “Get ready.” he said.

“Fine...” i said with a frown and a quick smirk.

he chuckled and then turned around and walked out. I looked through the closet to see what to wear. i saw a green plaid dress with a brown belt around the waist. I also found black tights and a pair of saddle shoes. i straightened my hair and put my bangs back with a little bump to them. i walked out and searched for The Doctor.

“Doctor!” i called out.

“Yes?” he asked mischievously.

I looked over at him and he is messing around with the clothing box under the TARDIS console. He was wearing a top hat and messing around with a cane. He’s leaning against the pole spinning the cane.

I laughed and walked over to him. “The top hat and the cane, don’t work for you.” I took them away from him.

“Ready?” he asked.

“Ready.” I said with a smile.

He grabbed my hand and we took off. We ran hand in hand. I had no clue where we were going. we just ran. he stopped for a second. i looked at him and he was staring up in the sky.

“Doctor,” i said. "What are you looking at?"

"Shh." She said as he put his finger over his lip. He bent down and picked up a rock and tossed it at the sky. A ripple appeared right where the rock hit. "Oh dear. Come with me."

"Where else will I go?" I said.

We ran straight to the TARDIS. We ran inside and the Doctor was plugging in some coordinates and pulling some levers and the TARDIS started to move and rumble and make a strange sound. The TARDIS had moved and landed in 2 minutes. We opened the door and appeared on what looked liked a command center on a spaceship. We walked out.

"Grab my hand and stay behind me." The Doctor said.

I grasped his hand and didn't let go. In all honesty i was scared. I looked into the Doctors eyes. I could see the bravery in his eyes. I never realized how dark green his eyes were. They were so deep like you could get lost in them so easily. They looked like they have seen everything from the begining of time. They seem tired and sad yet happy at the same time. So strong, yet so vulnerable.

"Riley." The Doctor said.

I snapped out of it. "Yea?" I asked.

"Are you ok?" He asked

"Uh yea, yea i'm fine." I said.

The Doctor took his sonic screwdriver and pointed it towards a door. A green light appeared on the door. I heard a click and then the Doctor opened the door. I kid you not, before my eyes was an army of silver, robotic men.

"Doctor." Said who i think is the leader.

"So we meet again." The Doctor said.

"W-Who are they?" I asked.

"Cybermen. The 2nd most dangerous alien in the universe." He said.

"Second?" I tremored.

"We are the dominant species. You will obey us." The Cybermen said.

"And when has that ever worked?" The doctor said.

"Attack!" The cyberman yelled.

"Doctor! What do we do?" I screamed

"Well...uh...i'm not sure." He said.

"WHAT?!" I screamed "alright, let's settle this, New York style."

I went up to one of the cybermen.

"No Riley you can't!" The Doctor yelled.

"You are too weak, you can't possibly take us down." The cybermen leader said.

"Oh hell no, no one, not even you tin cans, can call ME weak." I said.

I brought my arm up to basically punch him to get it started. He grabbed my hand. I laughed. I moved my other arm to make it think i was gonna hit it and so i confused it. I took my leg and knocked it to the ground.

"Never mess with a chick who grew up in New York." I said.

"Retreat." The one cyberman said. "we will be back."

"yea we'll see about that." I said.

They walked out and left the Doctor and I alone.
