Chapter 20 - Another Chance?
Destiny.
Beep ... Beep ... Beep.
I found myself getting easily annoyed with my forever beeping alarm clock. For some reason, my head is killing me and I really don't want to get out of my warm bed to get the kids ready for daycare. But I knew I had to.Today, I'm going job hunting because obviously I need a job - more like desperate for one.
I hate not feeling independent. I live with my father and he's basically the one supporting me ad my two children and my brother while he is away at college all while paying for me to take online college courses. He has so much on his plate and I just really need to get out of his hair.
With this realization, with my eyes still closed, I reached over, ready to turn my alarm off but a sharp went through my arm as I tried to stretch it. The pain was so intense that I screamed out and shot out of my bed. An action I immediately regretted.
Pain shot through my head, chest, and ribs. I let out a blood-curling scream and squeezed my eyes tightly, trying to endure the unknown pain taking over my body.
My breathes were coming out in deep pants. It hurt to breath.
"Make it stop!" I screamed to the Heavens. It felt like like someone just took a thousand bound boulder and threw it at various parts of my body.
I faintly heard voices, but I was far too gone. My vision was getting blurry and I couldn't even make out the color of the figures standing over me. I couldn't see their facial expressions.
And soon, I couldn't see anything but the darkness behind my eyelids.

Beep ... Beep ... Beep.
Ugh! This stupid alarm clock is going to be the death of me I swear. I reached out to turn it off but my hand was stopped mid air. Confused, I began to open my eyes but found it very difficult to do so.
After a few more tries, I got them open and pain immediately shot through my head at all the bright lights around me. My dad must have come in my room earlier and opened up my blinds. God, I hate it when he does that.
Scanning the room, I noticed that I was not, in fact, in my bedroom. The walls were all white and their were big windows covering the whole wall to my right. That's where the stupid light is coming from.
