"Hey Herrmann," Severide says as he walks into the locker room. "Hey, how are you doing?" he asks. Severide opens his locker, "Fine, I guess. I just have been trying to not think about it." Herrmann nods, closing his locker and walking out into the common room. Severide has finally gotten mostly back to normal after Benny died. He still has some rough days but it's definitely getting a little easier each day.
Everyone was gathered in the common room. Brett, Foster, and Kidd were eating breakfast. Mouch, Cruz, and Otis were watching the tv. Casey was talking to Boden in the hallway. "What's going on?"
