We finally arrived. After getting Eddie out of the jeep, I came to her door and knocked. The door opened and Ana looked just the way she always did with her dark brown hair tied in a bun, her brown eyes behind a pair of glasses and she was wearing a robe with her slippers.

She had a huge smile on her face. "Marie!" She gave me a huge bear hug and squeezed me so tight I can barely breath. "Oh, it's so good to see you again" I hugged her back. When she finally let go she turned to Eddie and looked up and down, she gave me a look. The look of good job. "And who are you suppose to be?" she asked as she put her hands on her hips. I answered for him. "This Is Eddie, he's my husband" her eyes widened. "Well it's nice to meet you Eddie, I'm Ana" she shook hands with him.

She invited us inside and when I saw the living room, it was the same as I just left. "Hey Marie notice anything different about me" she took off her robe and had a huge baby bump. My eyes were filled with excitement. "Your pregnant!" I said in a loud voice. I bent down on my knees to feel the baby bump. "I am seven months pregnant" she added. I heard a few movements, but the baby was defiantly in there. "I'm gonna be a Aunt!" I gave her a huge bear hug. "Ok, now I know how you feel when I give you a huge" she said as she was bunched up in my arms. I let go and got a good look at her baby bump, she was glowing. "Ya'll must be tired, here you two can take the guest bedroom" I shot her a look. There is no way I'm sleeping with him again. Maybe while he's sleeping I'll just go to my old room. We came up stairs to this gorgeous guest bedroom. It was like a victorian royal bedroom as if we were staying at a fancy hotel. When I moved in, this room was nothing but a king size bed with old grandma sheets and furniture . "Wow, Ana you really out done yourself, what happened?" I looked at her, she was holding a pile of men's pajamas and men's clothing. How did that get there?"Here you go Eddie, here's some of James's old clothes when he was in college. They should be able to fit you" she said as she handed him the clothes. "Thank you" he went in to the bathroom to try them on. In the mean time, Ana took me to my old bedroom which was on the Attic floor. When I saw my bedroom, memories started to come back. The walls were violet and one side was full of pictures and music. My also violet bed sheets looked brand new. The cherry wooded floors looked swept. And my guitar, looked like it has been dusted everyday. I walked over the the pictures on the wall and there was Josef, me and the gang. "Why didn't you call me to come pick you up at Briarcliff? And why did you bring two face in to my house?" she said as she closed the door behind her and walked towards me. I just knew she had hundred of questions and I had to answered them all.

To be honest I didn't want to tell her the horrors at mount massive asylum. But I had to, to explain why Eddie was here. I looked her and sat down on the bed. "Ana, if I were to tell you, You would me afraid of me" I told her as I looked down at me lap. She took my hands and held it in hers. "Marie, your my sister, and I love you, I will never, ever be afraid of you, you can tell me any thing " she gave me a warm smile. I decided to tell her.

"I've seen so many horrible things that it changed me. When I was at Briarcliff, I met this 15 year old girl named Amy. She had the mind of a seven year old kid, that's why her parents put her there, But she reminded me of you when you were a little girl. So much fun, full of life. She was all you. But during the 3 years I was at Briarcliff, I decided to treat her as if she was my own. One day we were getting on a bus to be transferred to Mount Massive Asylum where the criminally insane go. When we got off the bus Amy threw up all at the guards feet. Then took her to the clinic. There was nothing I could do but follow the guard's instructions. They took us to a lounge room for patients and that's where I met Eddie. We didn't talk at all. But oh my god, Ana, he was so handsome, that stuff that's on his face, wasn't there when I met him. After a while this girl Shelly, who I hardly knew, sat across. Boy, she was a Chatty Cathy you couldn't get her to shut up even when you have a head ache. Then they led us to our assigned rooms which were on the other side of the asylum, the girls side, but I couldn't find Amy, I was worried. I started hear screaming coming from outside my room, the men were rapping the women, even Shelly. So I tackled the man on top of Shelly, bit him, and ran to hide in a locker. When coast was clear I went to go and find Amy and found her tied to a chair by Eddie. When I saw Eddie that's when I saw the stuff on his face. So I went to go and untie her up and ,Ana, he threw me against some sewing machines and tables" I lifted up my shirt to show her some bruises my by Eddie.

"Oh my god, Marie" she put her hand over her mouth. I continued on with my story with tears running down my face.

"I volunteered to be his wife so Amy didn't have to get married so young till I found out she was pregnant and then-" I was about to continue on but Ana held her hand up and said "Stop, I heard enough" I gave her a hug then went my closet to get my black jeans and black jacket.

"Did Eddie hurt you?" She asked she sounded furious. I answered "Yes, he did, in my lower part" I slid my jeans over my underwear and put on my white under shirt with that my black jacket. "Are you pregnant?" She asked another question. "I don't know, Ana. I could be since he rammed me so hard" I walked over to my mirror and put my hair in a pony tail. "Maybe we should call the cops" I looked at her directly though the mirror "Are you crazy Ana? Because if the cops take him then their gonna take me as well" I sat down right next to her. "Have you told him anything about you?" She held my hands "Nope" I looked right in to her dark brown eyes.

"Then scare him"

"I tried that but he-" Ana interrupted me.

"No, I talking about getting crazy like hood crazy"

"So you want me to act ghetto in front of Eddie"

"Yes, like you did when you were living with the Brooks"

"Ana, I am not going to do that and besides I don't think I have the crazy in me anymore"

"Well alright, but if you really want him leave, I would suggest introducing him to your family" she said as she walked out of my room closing the door. I love Ana but I sometimes I think of her as crazy.

I walked over to the wall of pictures and started taking pictures of Josef off the wall, putting them in the trash can. Until, I looked at this one picture where Josef and I are at the beach having fun. I kept it close to my heart and went to my music player to play the song Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien by Édith Piaf. I went to the window to watch the sun rise. Most people don't no this but the song was about letting go and moving on in French. I really, really wanted to let go of the memories me and Josef had and move on, but I just couldn't. When the song was over, I hid the picture in the dresser right next to my bed.
