Chapter One: Red Night

Chapter One, Red Night

The Little girl ran towards her mother tripping over the dead bodies.

"Mama! "

"Yuki!" she yelled out and ran to her.

She picked the little girl up and ran outside into the woods and put the girl behind the trees.

"Yuki stay here until its all over, okay baby?" She kissed the girls forehead.

"I'll always love you Yuki!" she yelled and ran out of the woods into the fight.

Mommy's strong. She'll make it.

She'll come back for me and take me back home to her and daddy.

A hour later and all the screams started to die down.

Yuki took her hands off her ears.

Is it safe now?

Yuki began to stand up and walk out of the woods.

Where's mommy!

She ran out and froze at what she saw in front of her house.

Everyone she had ever loved, anyone ever dear to her was dead.

All her uncles. All her aunts.

She ran to her best friend emi and started shaking her.

"Emi! " she cried.

"Wake up Emi! Don't die! " she screamed.

Where's daddy. When mama made her leave daddy was fighting the monsters.

She had thought the monsters to be nice before but these monsters were scary.

They had killed Emi.

Yuki went into her home then to look for her parents.

"Mama! " "Daddy!"

But they were no where.

Yuki pinched her nose. The smell of dead was everywhere.

It made her sick to her stomach.

Her white dress she wore wasn't white anymore.

It was a dark red, soaked in blood.

She ran then upstairs to her parents bedroom and saw the worst sight of all.

Her beloved daddy stabbed through the heart with his own sword against the wall.

"Daddy?"

Why is this happening!

Who is doing this?

Then she went to far corner of the room and saw her mom in the corner covered in red with a knife in her head.Her mouth still screaming in horror.

"Mama! "

Yuki ran to her mom hugging her, begging her to wake up.

"She won't wake up you know."

Yuki flinched at the harsh voice and turned around.

There she saw a blue flaming wolf covered in blood.

"What do you mean? She has too!"

The wolf ran at her knocking her down.

It licked its lips and was ready to bite until-

"Kill me if you want but get out of here after. I don't want you to die like mommy or daddy or emi."

The wolf almost chuckled at her.

Doesn't she know I'm the one who killed them?

Why worry about me?

Yuki looked the wolf in eyes and felt sorry for him. There's so much sadness she thought.

I want you to be happy.

And then she hugged him.

The wolf snarled at her but that just made her hug him tighter.

Then the wolf stopped fighting and looked at her.

She looks exactly like Yuri. Her name evens sounds like hers. And she's hugging me. A little girl is hugging me.

Yuki let go and looked into the Wolf's eyes again.

"Be happy..." she whispered and then fainted.

The wolf was about to leave her for dead but stopped.

I can't leave her behind. When I look at her face and her eyes all I can think is Yuri.

The wolf then put the girl on his back and ran away from the massacre.

He ran past all the faces of the innocent victims he had killed.

Why am I saving her?

He took her to a small cave in the woods and laid her down on the leaves.

I have to take care of her.

But I can't exist in this world for too long. I'll have to possess something to stay and care for her.

Then he thought the unthinkable.

And leapt into the girls mind.
