The next morning I woke up to see it was Saturday already.

Yay, no school!

I jumped out of bed and put my black T-shirt on and white shorts and went downstairs.

Dad was talking to mom about something on the couch and uncle yukio was reading.

I slammed my foot on the ground and they all jumped.

"It is a beautiful Saturday morning and you are all sitting inside! "

"It's raining, Yuki." uncle yukio said.

I looked out the window and just like he said, it was raining.

"Rain is beautiful! Let's go jump in the puddles!"

"I'm studying." uncle yukio said.

"We're making plans." dad said and mom blushed.

I raised an eyebrow at that.

"Well then. I can see none of you love nature like me! I'm going out! "

I stomped my way out of the house and ran out into the rain.

I had always loved the rain.

I spun around in circles and jumped in all the puddles I saw until I was soaked.

Then it started to get cold.

S-Should've brought a jacket...

I ran all the way to the garden and got under the gazebo and sat down.

It's still cold but at least it's not as wet.

I listened to the pounding sound of the rain crashing down on the roof and sighed.

Then I heard another sound. Footsteps.

I looked up to see a girl with red and gold ombre hair dressed in short shorts and a bikini top staring at me.

"What are you doing out here in the rain by yourself?"

"I-I was enjoying the rain until it got cold."

"Why didn't you go home?"

"I don't know. I think I just feel very calm here. Like when I'm here, everything else doesn't matter."

She held out a hand towards me.

"You can't stay here forever though, you'll freeze to death."

I covered myself in flames.

"I promise I won't freeze."

She suddenly jumped back and said, "Devour the eight princesses, slay the serpent!"

Then a sword came out of her chest and she toke it and pointed it at me.

"Who are you!" she screamed.

I stood up and toke out my own sword.

"Yuki okumura!"

She put her sword down.

"Okumura?"

I ended up telling her what had happened.

"So where'd you get the ritual thing from?"

"I don't know." I lied. "I just knew."

We both started walking back home.

"So why were you all alone in the rain?" I said.

"Lookin for a little minor demon that kept messing with my hair. "

"So... are you a teacher here? "

"Sort of. More like an adviser. I make sure the teachers are doing they're jobs and sometimes I help out."

"I never did ask you, what's your name?"

"Shura. "

The rain started to die down.

"Your good with a sword, I can tell by the way you hold it. I should give you some lessons some time."

"Really!"

I hugged her.

"I wuvs you Shura wura! "I said all cutesy.

She grimanced.

"Get off. Get off." she said pushing me off her.

"But I wuvs you Shura wura!"

"I don't wuvs you, Yuki!"

"Aww that hurt my feelings, take it back Shura wura!"

"Only if you promise to never call me Shura wura again."

"I promise..."

"Okay, then. I take it back."

Then I arrived at my house.

"Bye Shura wura!" I said quickly and ran back inside.

Hehehe.

Then uncle yukio stepped out in front of me.

"Where have you been?"
