"Don't fall!" Unikitty shouted.
"I have a pretty good grip on the ladder. I don't think I will." Marie replied to her.Just as she had mentioned the day earlier, the Princess of Stardust had arrived at her friend's castle early to help decorate for the party.
She hung pastel streamers above the entrance door, then observed them closely. They seemed to be placed perfectly. They were making good time, as the party would start in the next hour.
Everything was decorated beautifully. The large entrance hall was covered in glittering decorations that even extended to the upstairs area.
"These are done! What's next?"
"The only thing left is the dessert table, and we're good to go!"Marie nodded, and climbed down the ladder Unikitty had provided to her. She tugged on the skirt of her dress, as she looked towards the empty tables nearby.
Unikitty lifted up the tablecloths with her magic, and placed them on top. They were light pink in color, and wrapped with a large dark pink ribbon.
On the bottom we're details of a spinning wheel, apple, and glass slipper. Marie found the design absolutely adorable.
Thoughts of Rex entered her mind, as she recalled every fairytale she's ever read. Soon, she would be living a real one, right beside her prince.
"I can't wait to see Rex again." She blushed.
"This is pretty serious Marie. If this date doesn't go well, then it'll be awkward and if it's awkward, there's no chemistry." Unikitty gasped, "And if there's no chemistry, there's no true love's kiss!"
"I think things will go well. Rex really likes me, and I really like him. I can't wait to finally be his girlfriend. I never thought I'd find someone who truly loved me. Dreams really do come true."
"You guys are so cute together. I can't wait to see what the future holds. I can see you two getting married already! I hope I can be your maid of honor! Are you thinking about kids?"
"I think that you're thinking too far ahead."
"Aww." The Unicat frowned, "But you'd have the cutest babies! I wanna see them now."
Marie giggled, "Eventually. I'll talk with Rex about it someday. For right now, it's our first date. Let's just get this done. I want to get dressed already! I have to look my best tonight."
"Your dress is so incredibly gorgeous! I already know you're going to look your best!" Unikitty hopped, "How hard would it be to put your hair up?"
"It is a bit complicated to put all of it up, but maybe half will do. We'll see what goes with the complete look."
"Hey, Big Sister! Marie!" Puppycorn suddenly entered the room, "They're done in the kitchen with all the stuff. If you notice any of the cupcakes missing, it wasn't me."
Unikitty looked at Marie, "I'll set out all the stuff. Go upstairs and get ready. It takes you longer. I don't know why though. You have hands."
"And these hands are able to do more." The Princess laughed, "Thank you, Unikitty."

Marie walked into a dressing room upstairs that Unikitty had implemented into her castle design. It was bright pink, and framed in a pastel rainbow trim.
The Princess's ball gown hung on a hanger just outside of the changing screen. It was exactly as she described it to Rex.
It had a light pink top, and an overlay with a darker pink skirt underneath it. It was off the shoulder, and had a low back. A pink ribbon was tied around the waist, and trailed down the back of the skirt.
