SOME ELEVEN HOURS LATER

"Congratulations Mr bhalla, you became father of two. Bete hue hai."

"Jee...." he stammered as Rashi broke the news of his babies arrival.

"You became father Raman, Ishita delivered two healthy baby boys. Congratulations."

"How's Ishita Rashi? Is she fine?"

"Yes she is. Although her blood pressure was high at the time of c-section but everything is good now. We will shift her in private suite in half and hour."

"Do she know...?"

"Not yet but she wanted you to hold them first. Here are your sons." And Raman saw first sight of his sons through blurry eyes, he saw two tiny figures coming towards him in the arms of nurse. He felt himself going weak as he heard his toddlers  wail. A smile crept on his lips hearing the soothing cries of his sons echoing in entire lobby of Fortis hospital in wee hours of morning. He never thought if he can smile ever seeing his children crying but the moment was different that early morning. He felt his legs wobbled as he saw two nurses infront of him holding his sons. Raman tried to speak but the words refused to come out, he knew the moment can't be define in words and he let his tears stream down from his eyes. He looked at his parents who were shedding happy tears.

"Hold them Raman. Lo unhe." Rashi urged him to take the little babies who was still crying loudly.

"I can't. I might have hurt them." Raman hadn't saw there faces but the babies appeared so tiny and delicate.

"A father can never hurt his babies. Take them even Ishita wished same." Rashi consoled the young father who appeared little frightened. The moment was infront of him but he was afraid to face it. Raman felt his leg weak as nurse asked him to hold his babies. He heard Rashi voice who asked his parents to make him sit on nearby visitor's chair, "dekh puttar tere bacche. Kitne khoobsoorat hai yeh. Dekh kaise tujhe dekh rahe hai jaise jaante ho ki tu unka Papa hai." Santhosh shed happy tears seeing her two grandsons, the reality of the dream which she weaved in her eyes. She allowed her son to cry who finally cradled his first son in his arms.

"He....he is so tiny Maa. So tiny."

"And he just look like you." Om Prakash caressed the boy face who was staring at everyone with his doe shaped eyes. Raman wiped his eyes and took a brief look of his first son as nurse carefully kept his another son on his lap. Raman felt the defination of love at first sight becoming true after seeing his little bundle of joys. They were nothing less than miracles for him, his little fighters what he named them. His looked at his first son who was exact replica of his wife, the same doe shaped black eyes like his mother, little pointed nose and black hairs. His second son looked little more like him he had brownish eyes same like his father & unlike his brother, with little stern face and pouted lips. He chuckled seeing the creases on his second son forehead, and Raman realised his son looked his mini version of his own self.

"Madrasan junior Ravan kahegi tujhe agar tune mere jaisa face banaya toh." The family laughed seeing there grandsons. Raman attention went on there tiny hands which had bands of Baby Bhalla names. He smiled through teary eyes and dropped little kisses on there forehead unable to hide his emotions. The boys lessened their cry after feeling a known warmth. Raman fondly peaked his sons forehead for another time unable to control his emotions. "I love you beta....I promise I will be a good father. I promise I will be your hero."
