"Madam try to move needles like this. It's not hard, you can try again."

"Oh..Ok ok. I'm trying it Kaveri. But it is hard."

"No madam it's not hard. You can do it. See it started to get shape."

"Oh yes, you're right. It's working. Bhalla Ji holds that yarn properly." Raman who was watching the scene suppressed his laughter seeing his father passing him helpless look while holding the yarn ball. As Ishita delivery dates started to approach his parent's excitement started to mount and they started to arrange the things they can do best in there ways. From last one week, Santhosh started to learn knitting from Kaveri, she expressed her wish to make her grandchildren wear hand knitted woolens. Raman was the most amused person with the preparations going in front of him. He was happy yet reluctant to accept such a warm gesture from the old couple. These months indeed played a significant role in filling the gap in there relationship but the hesitation was still there. Raman still find hard to accept them around him, the whirlwind of emotions was new for him and he needed time to accept same.

His chain of self-thought broke as he saw Vandita entering in there living room carrying Shritija in her arms. He fished his phone in his pocket and bore Vandita in a warm hug. Next, he took little Shritija in his arms and started to play with her sitting next to Vandita who handed some paper bags to Santhosh.

"What are these?"

"Oh, these are some old clothes of Shritija and Shravan. Aunty asked me to bring the same." Raman narrowed his brows seeing his mother going through the old clothes of Shravan and Shritija.

"But what is the need of an old one? We can buy new clothes, right?"

"It's not like that Raman, chotte baccho ko janam ke baad ekdum se nahi pehnaate. Isliye maine Vandita se poocha agar woh Shravan aur Shritija ke kapde le aaye." Santhosh exclaimed while passing a glass of water to Vandita. Raman nodded his head continued to play with Shritija whereas Vandita and Santhosh started to exchange some pleasantries.

"How's my sister Raman?"

"Same sulking." Raman rolled his eyes making everyone laugh. Ishita mood swings had increased from the last few months, the complete bedrest indeed

"Chalo then I should go and meet her. She will feel good. What's say Shritija?" Raman escorted Vandita and Shritija to upstairs, he felt better seeing Vandita along little Shritija,  he was sure Ishita will feel good after seeing her sister.

AFTER FEW HOURS

"Raman I guess I should take leave. See Ishita and Shritija both had slept."

Vandita whispered slowly seeing Shritija sleeping beside Ishita. She left Ishita and Shritija playing along some half an hour back in pretext to make calls. She went in Mr. Iyyer room to check his vitals due to Raman insistence. The frown of worries came on her forehead after checking him replaced with ease seeing her sister sleeping peacefully with her little baby. Raman exchanged a smile with Vandita and carefully picked Shritija not to disturb her sleep. Vandita picked the sleeping toddler and made her way outside of Ishita room followed by Raman.

"Thank you for checking things." Raman expressed his gratitude as they started to descend stairs.

"Anything for you Raman," Vandita replied softly continued to pat her sleepy daughter.

"Vandita anything we can do?"

"No Raman. There is nothing you can do. His cancer started to affect his organs so we can't do anything now." Raman drew a sharp breath looking at everywhere. He passed a low smile to Vandita and continued, "I never thought someday I will express my concern for Mr Iyyer."
