Will try to meet you sooner 😄Ishita was stunned seeing the file in Raman's hand. She immediately ran towards him and tried to snatch that from him but all her attempts went in vain, instead his grip tightened on the file. She lifted her sight towards his eyes and saw him glaring her. All she wanted was to hide that file from him and never wanted to open her secret but she knew her attempts went in vain. Her secret was no more hidden and now even Raman was aware of it.
"Raman...this..this is no..nothing. it was...was kept casu..casually"
She tried to prove her point but seems like her words died in her throat. Her eyes became moist, she looked at his face, tried to read his thoughts but his stern face said nothing. Unable to ask anything more she started to sob, in fear of facing his reaction.
" I..I am sorry Raman. I knew that you won't liked it. That's...that's why I hide it from you and I promised it will never shown you ag...again"
"You didnt even tried to tell me once" his voice was mellowed down. She looked up and found his concerned face towards her. He gently placed his hands on her shoulder and helped her to sat down on bed.
They were sitting on bed and staring at the file quietly. Raman was reading the lines again and again. It was the certificate from Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research institute chennai from where she completed her MBBS with merit. She was the only girl who passed her MBBS with highest marks. It was first time in one month of their wedding when Raman felt proud of his wife. He glanced at Ishita and found her staring at the blank spot on wall and tears were rolling down from her eyes.
"I was so young when I lost my grandpa's, he was suffering from blood cancer. Amma was so close with her father that's why she wanted to make me a doctor so that no one can loose their loved ones because of scarcity of doctors. Raman, it was my mother's last wish, it was her dream which I want to make true...sorry I wanted but now every...every thing is over."
"Then you should make her dream come true. In fact it's a good thing, why are you hesitating? Look at this Ishita, you are a topper of your college."
"Its not necessary thta every time our wishes, our desires come true Raman"
"What do u mean"
"Appa aur mom aisa nahi chahate Raman." tears were brimming in her eyes. Flashes of last 3 years came in front of her eyes when she faced lots of opposition from her parents. She faced her father anger, her mother harsh words but despite all these things, she continued her studies. One night trio were having their dinner when shanaya spoke to her appa
"Vishu, I need your permission. Will you? "
"Tell na Shanaya, what happened? "
"Actually today we went at a event and there my friend who is a fashion photographer saw ishu, and she wanted to take her as her model. can I take her? "
"Ofcouse shanaya, do whatever you want. ishu will definetly go with you "
Ishita who was silent throughout the dinner chose to stay quiet and wondered how conveniently her parents took decision for her without asking her own will. Glamour and modelling never went along her and ignoring her protests her mother forcefully took her for auditions where she failed badly. The outcomes came worst then the humiliation she faced during auditions, another time her father ignored her and listened her mother who made mountain of a molehill and presented herself as victim which was enough to make Vishwanathan Iyyer mad. Pissed from his daughter behaviour he stopped talking her from that day and fixed her marriage with Raman as soon as she completed her degree.
