MoL 8: When I Was Your Man
Mackenzie's POV
Leigh came back and we all went to the Auditorium after eating lunch.
As we expected, Viviane won and we're now waiting for her duet with the prince.
"Tsk! You know what, guys? Baka hindi nanaman pumayag si Prince Levi eh. Let's just go nalang. Ako nalang ka-duet mo, Vivi." She said and pulled Viviane.
"Where do you think you're bringing her? I'm singing with her." Prince Levi, together with the other members of Sirius, came out of nowhere.
"Oh! Pardon me, your royal highness." Sasha quickly bowed her head to apologize.
"W-what?" Before Viviane was able to finish her question, Prince Levi pulled her to go to the back stage.
"Well, I guess na sa mood si Levi ngayon! Right, Dianne?" Princess Miya grinned wickedly before nudging Princess Dianne's arm.
"Yeah right!" Princess Dianne replied wearing the same wicked grin.
"Hay nako! Pagpasensyahan niyo nalang sila, ha?" While the other two were laughing, Princess Macy had her palm on her face.
"Uhhh... Okay, I guess?" Feeling awkward, Kim replied.
Viviane's POV
Oh my! Is this guy for real?
Akala ko ay hindi na siya darating!
"What are you looking at?! Huwag mong sabihing isa ka rin sa mga baabeng sumali lang para makalapit sa akin!" Masama ang tingin na sabi niya sa amin.
"Wow naman! Malakas!" I mocked.
Sinagot niya lang ako ng masama niyang tingin. As if namang masisindak mo 'ko diyan, 'no?
"Tss. Just shut up and sing." Naiirita niyang binigay sa akin ang microphone pagka-akyat namin ng stage.
"Naiirita ako sa'yo." Pahabol niya pa.
Tingin mo ako, hindi ako naiinis sa'yo?
Grrrr!
"What are we singing?" I asked in a whisper when the lights turned off.
"Dunno." Kibit balikat niya lang.
What the hell?! Anong hindi niya alam?!
It started playing and I quickly recognized the song.
It was When I Was Your Man by Bruno Mars.
Wrong choice of song. Hindi naman pang duet 'to, ah?
Levi:
"Same bed but it feels just a little bit bigger now
Our song on the radio but it don't sound the same
When our friends talk about you, all it does is just tear me down

Viviane:

The lyrics were based on a man's perspective but luckily! I thought of a way to make it into a female's point of view! Hoo!
Ang galing mo talaga, Viviane!
I praised myself.
Kung titingnan ay napakalungkot ng kantang ito. He sang beautifully and I did my part well pero napapansin kong walang emosyon ang pagkanta namin. I think we were not able to portray the regret of the man singing the song and that's just a pity.
Sana ay sa susunod na pagkanta namin ay hindi na ganito. Kung sakaling mauulit ang pagkakataong itong muli...
