Being pregnant and having a kid was something that you and Spencer had talked about a few times every time there was a case that involved kids or whenever you both took walks down to the park near the apartment. You have been engaged for a few months and you both wanted them, but he feared that being an FBI agent meant putting his family in more danger that there already is and you understood that.

You now sat in the doctor's office, waiting for her to come back the results after she took blood and urine samples from you. Sitting there, bouncing your leg up and down, constantly was making your anxiety out of whack and you wanted to leave but you knew you couldn't. She came back after a while with the results and you couldn't be more nervous and excited at the same time

"Well looking at the results, it looks like you're two months pregnant. Congratulations. You'll need to set up an appointment with your gynecologist regarding everything. Please call and ask if you have any questions." she told you while she looked back at you after looking at your chart. 

Pregnant. Something that was always talked about but never happened up until now. Breaking the news to Spencer was going to be hard. After talking to your doctor about some of the concerns you had about pregnancy, you left the office.

Checking your phone to see if there have been any messages or calls, you see that Spencer has texted you saying that he has a case, but it was local. Leaving the office, you see JJ, entering and checking in with Henry with her. You tried your best to avoid her, but Henry saw you and called you out and started to run towards you.

"Y/N!" he yelled as you picked him up and gave him a hug

"Hey bud, how are you?" you asked as soon as you put him down

"Okay, mom said I had a checkup." the small toddler said as JJ came over and picked him up

"He wasn't feeling too good, so I decided to take the day off and bring him here and see what was wrong. What about you? What are you doing here?" JJ said then asked 

"Same as Henry, wasn't feeling too good and had to get a checkup" you told her as you felt your phone buzz

"Y/N, I really don't want to intrude in anything going on but, Henry can you please cover your ears." JJ tells him before continuing.

"Are you pregnant?" JJ asks lowering her voice but with concern 

"Yes, I am. But you can't tell Spencer. I'm not ready to tell him now, especially since there is a new case going on." You tell her with almost worried look 

"Yeah yes, of course. I just want the both of you to be happy with what you decide." she said with giving you a hug with Henry 

"thank you. Okay I got to go, see you soon and hope you feel better Henry" you told them before giving Henry a kiss on his forehead.

As you left the building, stepping into the cold, yet sunny weather, you looked over your shoulder and saw Henry waving and waved back. You really loved him and seeing him Spencer always made your heart flutter. He's always been good with kids and can make them laugh with his magic tricks. As you got back to the apartment, you started to vision how much things would change. You wondered if Spencer would either leave the bau and start working as a professor to avoid his family being in danger all the time or if he'll stay and not go in the field as much to avoid getting injured.
