a/n: okay so i'm like maybe 3 weeks in quarantine idk when it started here in california but yeah i can't stand online classes also this was really bad i didn't know how else to write i haven't left the house unless i needed to go to the store and such

i also really sorry that this is short and really shitty my brain is lit rally fried and shit

hope y'all are staying safe and self isolating and keeping good hygiene

"i can't stand being in quarantine anymore! i'm literally so bored and i've done everything i can do in this apartment. please entertain me." you tell spencer

ever since the government issued a lockdown because of the coronavirus, everyone has gone crazy and being forced to stay home and only allowed to go outside for essential needs is killing you. the only thing you wish you had was at least a balcony so you get go outside for fresh air a bit without anyone yelling at you to go back inside. the only hard part for you and spencer is the social distancing. yeah you want to stay safe and healthy but you and spencer are that couple where neither one of you can keep your hands off each other.

every single day was the same. wake up, do yoga, open the windows for some fresh air, eat, drink coffee, go to work on the computer, eat, go to sleep, etc. repeat everyday unless you actually need to leave the apartment to get more food and necessities. neither you or spencer understood why people were buying toilet paper in bulk and just continued to shop in peace.

the both of you are actually worried about the pandemic because it's major but you try to be calm about an make sure that you do everything to clean everything clean and staying at least 6 ft apart at most times.

spencer has been home and his classes have been transferred to online and he still hasn't gotten the hang of it, which on your hand at least entertained you whenever you didn't feel like reading or doing a puzzle or something.

for spencer he was going to lose his mind if he wasn't in an actual classroom or at the bau helping. he's not the best at technology, but he's trying his best to figure out how it's going to work. so far he's just been emailing his student's on what he wants them to do and still making sure that they are going to pass his class and that they don't fail because of his lack of technological use. he's called penelope a few times to make sure he was doing it right but he's just lied to her and told her he understood.

"um, maybe later. i'm still trying to figure out how this zoom thing works." spencer told you not even bothering to look up from his laptop

"do you need some help? i can probably try and help you?" you ask him giving him a hug from behind

"yeah. i just need to figure this out before classes start. i just don't want the students to fail because i don't know how to figure out this technology stuff and teaching online." spencer said as he looked up at you looking at you giving you puppy dog eyes.

"okay, try sending me the meeting id and i think we can work from there." you tell him grabbing your laptop to help him

"okay it's (insert random numbers here)."

"i got it. do you see me?"

"yes. can you hear and see me properly?"

"yeah i can" you told him before continuing

"okay so i think if you want to show the powerpoint you have ready, you need to click share screen." you finished

"okay i think i got this now. hopefully this will go smoothly and i don't screw up." he tells you getting up to get a cup of coffee and getting you one as well

"you won't screw it up. not everyone is tech savvy like penelope, we all have to learn sometimes. how about after your class is over and your done answering questions they have, we just spend the rest of the night with no technology. just me, you, coffee, any book or puzzle in this apartment enjoying each other's company until everything goes away." you told him taking his hands into yours and looking up at him

"okay. have i ever told you how much i love you?" he asks smiling

"maybe every now and then or a few hundred times" you giggle out

"well then, you'll hear it again. i love you" spencer said before giving you a kiss

quarantine life wasn't exactly anyone's favorite but for you and spencer you get to make up for all the lost time whenever he was gone. the both of you missed the team so dearly but you all managed to keep in touch with everything. he was also worried about his mom and he wasn't allowed to visit her anymore but still manages to send her letters to keep in contact and make sure she wasn't getting any of the symptoms.

spencer got out a new puzzle that you haven't seen before and you couldn't make out before he put the box on the table. when you saw it, you smiled as tears filled your eyes. the picture that was printed on was a picture from one of your favorite days which was your guys' wedding day.

"i was waiting for a day like this for it to be just us so we can do this, but we were always busy and i never got the chance to show you." he said opening the box and sitting down at the table

"well then i'm happy that this happened even though that was a really fucked up saying for me to say now that i think about it." you said as you both giggled

"don't worry, i understand what you mean."

"when did you get this done?" you asked him as the both of you tried to start the edges first and then finish everything else

"well i got it done last year and i was thinking we do it on our anniversary but the case came along and it slipped my mind during our postponed dinner. as i was cleaning yesterday, i saw it and thought we could do it when we have time to ourselves and not doing any work." spencer told you smiling

"i really do love you dr. spencer reid and i'm happy i chose to marry the right man" you say looking at him causing him to turn red making you chuckle

the night ended peacefully with the both of you finishing a 1000 piece puzzle of the both of you
