warnings: none really, but it does get a little NSFW at one point but none the less it cute as heck

Coming back from a case was one of Spencer's favorite things ever. Even though he didn't like how things had to end with the unsub on the case, it meant that more people would be safe. As he pulled into the driveway, he saw that you were home and that the lights were still on.

That was one of his least favorite things, when you stay up and wait for him to come home. He put his keys into the door and opened to see you on the couch sleeping with one of his shirts on, books surrounding you, and your phone turned on to see your texts between you and him. He smiled and took his shoes, and his coat and bag off before going to you and caressed your face. He had never been more in love with someone before and he was happy that he found you. Fluttering your eyes after feeling someone touch your face, you jump up to see Spencer and give him a hug.

"I've missed you so much. I know I'm used to this, but still it was hell not being with you." you tell him as he chuckles and gives you a kiss.

"I've missed you too but I'm back, so you don't have to worry anymore." He says with a sorrow look in his eyes

"How bad was the case this time?" you asked him as you rubbed his arm and looked into his eyes

"Two kids died, and one adult." he sighed as he sat on the floor with his back against the couch putting his head in his hands and sniffling as if he were crying.

You knew cases that involved kids got to him and the team hard. Getting up and sitting next to him, you put you head on his shoulder while leaned his against yours before talking

"Hey, it's not your fault. You and the team did your best to save those people. Don't feel guilty for something that you can't control. Did you want those kids to die? No. Did you try your best to get the person who killed them? Yes. There are things in life that we can and cannot control Spence, and it's okay to get upset over it and feel this way, but you can never blame yourself for things like this.." You tell him wiping the tears that escaped from his eye

"I know but, I feel like if they were still alive, they could've done all the things they wanted to accomplish, and I couldn't get to them sooner to save them. They were just kids and I couldn't help to think what if it was you and our children that were in that position and I wasn't able save you. You mean the world to me and I don't ever want to lose you and anyone else." he said with a soft voice as tears began to escape from his eyes.

You and Spencer have talked about your guys' future together and you both wanted to have kids. He loved you more than anything in the world and he would risk everything to make sure that you were safe and never in any kind of danger. The sight of seeing him cry made you wish that you can make sure he can just have all the happiness in the world, but as humans everyone must have breaking points throughout their life. You wiped the tears from his eyes and gave him a soft peck on his cheek before getting up and grabbing his hands.

"You'll never lose me. I've learned a thing or two from being engaged to an FBI agent and having friends who are also agents. C'mon let's go. Get up." you tell him as you now stood in front of him

"What are we doing?" he asked looking up at you with a confusion spreading across his face before he got up

"We are going to take a bath. You need to relax and calm down. You've been too stressed and it's getting to you." you tell him as you stroked his cheek with a smile on your face with him now towering over you with his tall frame
