He was looking at his eomma with puppy eyes to help him as his heart can't stand sitting beside him, not after what happened at dinner when he refused to let Tae go and made him sit besides him after many attempts to sit him on his lap, also treating him like a little kid by feeding him but it was Tae's fault as he almost fell asleep on the table with his mouth full of food.
Jin wasn't a cold hearted person and especially not to his baby, it was the boy's idea and the talk they had when Tae was upstairs was to let them beside each other, they wanted them to make their bond stronger but that didn't mean he accepted without conditions:

Tae wanted to remove it but JK is stronger, he was enjoying his moment while looking at his cute mate when a spoon hit him in the head. He turned to find Jin glaring at him .
He retreated his hand making Tae whimper, he liked his reaction that Kai purred in his head .
JK went to the bathroom and when he returned he found Tae laying on one pillow while hugging his(JK's ).
He felt overwhelmed but glanced at Jin to find him busy with his NJ, and the other two where no longer with them and that made him roll his eyes .
He got next to him and sit, just for Tae to do what he do best, he made his way towards the warmth and throw the pillow to hug JK like his life dependent on it, that made him and Kai so happy he didn't notice the glares from Jin again.
He coughed to get his attention but held his hand up showing that he wasn't the one touching. That made Jin sight and just let them be for now.
After an hour of watching Tae and playing with his hair and imagining his future and how lucky he is , JK fell asleep hugging his precious mate and giving him a kiss on his forehead that send sparklers to his lips.
