The Autobots transformed into their vehicle mode so we could to Sam and I's house. I took a moment to admire the nice looking cars surrounding me before going to join Mikaela and Sam in Bumblebee.
"Wait." A voice called out.
I turned to see the drivers side to Ratchet's ambulance opened.
"You will be coming with me."I glanced back at Sam, unsure if I should go with the medic or not. My twin shrugged and I gave him a sarcastic smiled as a 'thanks for the help'.
I figured I trusted Ratchet enough, so I decided to go with him.
But I have to say, I've never been in an ambulance, so it was pretty cool.Of course, Ratchet didn't have all of the equipment that's normally there, but it was still awesome.
I sat in the drivers seat and tried my hardest to resist resting my hands on the steering wheel. All the Autobots started up and drove from the alley, turning up the road. Sam and Is house was a good 20 minutes from where we were, and I just hoped to whatever gods that we weren't late.
Mom would get mad at me and Sam and probably ground. We wouldn't even be able to defend ourselves. What would we say? "Oh, sorry Mom. This this giant robot attacked us and turned out be an alien. Then Sams new car, who's also an alien, saved us and brought us to his team who told us the Sam has to save the world. Oh, i'm also some weird mutant who is turning into one of the aliens. But we promise to never do it again if you don't ground us" ?Yeah, no.
"If you would allow me to scan you again, I would like to see if anymore changed cells have appeared." Ratchet's voice came from the radio.
I shrugged halfheartedly. "Go ahead."
The green light that came from Ratchets eye earlier came from somewhere by the radio, scanned me over again.
"Well, it seems everything is still normal. Notify me if you get anymore pains." Ratchet announced.
I nodded and sunk down in the seat, tired over-taking my mind. Sleeping had been pretty hard lately. My eyes blinked lazily until we pulled up to the house.
I patted Ratchet's dashboard. "Thanks for the ride, Ratchet." His engine rumbled and I jumped out. It was pretty late, and I hope to God that Sam and I weren't late.Mom would have a fit.
Sam and Mikaela were standing by the gate talking.
"I need you to stay here, alright? You gotta stay here and watch them." Mikaela nodded in understanding. "All of them, okay?""She got it Sam, lets go!" I interrupted my brother before he made us late, if we weren't already.
He sighed. "Five minutes, okay?"I rolled my eyes and grabbed his arm dragging him across the yard.
Dad was standing at the screen door when we made it around back. "Thanks for staying on my path."
I cringed, realized I dragged Sam across the grass and not on the stone walkway Dad made. "Opps. Sorry Dad."Sam got out of my grasp and ran up to Dad. "Oh, yeah. No, no, Dad. Hey! Sorry about the path. Forgot about that."
My twin babbles on about the path saying he going to sweep, just trying to distract Dad so he wouldn't come outside.
I turned back towards the gate, where the Autobots hid behind the tall fence. I pretended to search my pockets and looked at Dad. "Hey, I think I left my phone in the car. Imma go get it."Before Dad or Sam could speak I ran off around the gate back to the Autobots. Mikaela looked up from her phone when I ran up. "Hey, what're you doing here."
I shrugged. "I didn't want to listen to Sam babble for three minutes."Mikaela gave a small smile. "You guys are twins, right."
I mentally rolled my eyes. We looked pretty similar. We're not identical, but we definitely look related.
"Yeah. Fraternal."
