chapter 6 | Baby check up!

Few months later..

Rainbow's POV

Its been a few months and my tummy has been growing like crazy! I only have to suffer one more more month!!! And its all over!

Having a womb is like gaining so much weight that you can't even walk fast.

"dashie~" soarin sang, trotting inside the bedroom. 

"soariee" i groaned

"is anything wrong?" he asked

"No" i replied and stood up.

"hey! Where are you going??" he asked stopping me.

"To grab something to eat" i replied

"I could get that for you hun" he said

"Nah i can get it on my own" i replied.
"Make sure its healthy for the baby" he reminded me.

"yes soarin" i replied before finally walking to the kitchen.

I grabbed an apple and walked back to the living room.

I saw soarin reading a letter and i asked to whom it was from.

"it was a letter from thunderlane saying that he and rarity went to Manhattan to live next to rarity's parents and they aren't coming back here anytime soon." soarin said

"That's so sad, hey isn't rarity also bearing a child?" i asked

"well yeah, thunderlane told me that once the child is ready to study he will enroll the child in twilight's school" he explained

"That's great" i replied taking a bite from the apple

He wrapped his hoof around my shoulder then all of a sudden i felt funny.

I held my stomach and it started to ache.

Soarin quickly noticed it and asked,

"W-what's wrong?" 

"N-nothing s-serious" i said and breathed in and out.

The pain faded after a few minutes.

"I'm fine now the baby was just kicking" i assured soarin, he let out a sigh in relief.

"Phew, for a second there i thought your water broke already" he laughed,

I giggled and cuddled beside him,

"I was literally scared at that time cause i thought that the baby was gonna arrive a month early, and that isn't a very good thing" he said

"yea i know" i replied

He kissed my forehead and we rested there for about a few minutes until we both fell asleep.

Soarin's POV

I woke up and saw my wife still sleeping. I smiled and carefully carried her to the bedroom.

I wrote dash a note that I'll be buying food outside for dinner and I'll be back in no time.

I stretched a bit and i flew outside.

I flew to ponyville and started to buy the ingredients i needed.

Sonepony then tapped my shoulder, i turned around and saw princess twilight.

"Your highness" i bowed.

"Soarin you know you don't really have to do that" she laughed.

"Why not? You're a princess and its part of my duty to bow before the princess" i said, she chuckled and said,
