Chapter 7 | whoops!

soarin's POV

The day has arrived!!!! Even thou it's  a bit late and the baby is coming on the next month its still okay...

Me and dashie are waiting for the pony which i think is the O.B? I forgot what that stood for but its the ponies who does the ultrasound..

After a few minutes the O.B. arrived..

"Hello, sorry if im a little late i just did some cleaning in my office earlier...now you wanted to get an ultrasound?" she asks.

"yes please" dash smiled.

"Great! My name's lily by the way! And it is a pleasure to meet you two!" she greeted cheerfully

"nice to meet you too" i replied

"Now lets get started! Are you ready to see your baby?" she asked.

Rainbow brightened up and replied, "I cant wait!" she cheers.

"Now i want you to lay down on this bed and you both look up on the screen and it will show you your future baby!" she said

It didnt take long until me and dash gasped at the sight of the baby.

"Eeiiikkk!!!! Ohmygosh soarin are you seeing this!!!" she squealed

"Yes honey" i replied

She looked at me happily with tears on her eyes. Aww tears of joy <3

I hugged her tenderly and lily printed out the images and handed it out to us. We paid her and we flew home, though i insisted that i would carry dash cause she isn't supposed to be flying of else her water might break early...

We arrived home and we both admired the picture. We were both exited to meet our little angel soon

She rested a bit and i laid beside her.

"What would be a great name for her or him?" she asked..

I placed a hoof on my chin slightly tapping it while thinking....

"For a baby colt i guess I'd name him.." I paused for a bit as i thought of something funny.

I looked at her and chuckled, "SOARIN JR!"  i fell of the bed laughing so hard.

I looked up to see her reaction and she wasn't happy about it...

I coughed and sat back on the bed.

"Aw im just joking... But you know you really could name your son after you" i explained.

She chuckles and playfully rolls her eyes and says. "Whatever you say pie boy" she laughs.

"if its a filly then ill name her, "Rainstorm" i suggested

She looked at me and said, "Rainstorm? Not bad i like it"

She sat up and said, "If its a colt, ill name him... Thunderbolt" she said,

I looked at her with surprise, "How did you come up with a good name easily?"

She grinned and said, "I've had it in my mind a few days ago"

I cuddled up to her and said, "I love you so much dashie and i cant wait to meet our baby"

She blushed and replied, "Me too.."
