--- --- --- --- ---"Mr Han?"
"Yes Jiminie?"
"Can I have Channie's room please since he's got a fo'ever home?"
"Uh- Do you not like sharing your room with Yoosung?"
"Nope. He snores so I can't sleep~ nothing against Sungie though. He's a good kid."
"Good kid... he's your hyung... but- I guess you have a point. But on one condition."
"Yesssss~"
"No going out and playing with the wolves again. That was dangerous and you could've gotten hurt."
"The giant doggie and the puppy? Hmm... Maybe Sungie snoring isn't that bad-"
"DECISION MADE. Nice doing business with you Minnie. No more dogs and a new room. Now let's go move your stuff~"
"But-"
"Come in Minnie~"
Jimin giggles as Mr Han threw him over his shoulder and carried him into the main room.
Distracting him from arguing back and changing his mind.
"Yoosung. Congratulations you just got your own room. Now help me move Jimin into Chan's old room so you have more room."
"Okay~!"
Yoosung dove onto Mr Han too so the man carried them both upstairs, both children giggling constantly as they made their guardian do the majority of the work.

Jimin sighed as he looked out of the window, staring up at the full moon in the sky.
He remembered his promise and wanted to keep it but after everything that happened he didn't see why he should.
--- --- --- --- ---
"I have an announcement everyone..."
The room went silent as Mr Han stood at the head of the table looking at everyone sat in front of him.
His family.
"I... I'll be going away from here to pursue my... my dream..."
The room fell silent other than one boy who raised his hand, the eldest of them all.
"Y-Yes... Yoosung?"
"Does that mean your leaving us?"
"W-w-well... y-yes... I suppose it does..."
Another much smaller hand rose.
"Jimin-"
"You pwomised you'd stay until we all found a family. Until we all found a home."
Another voice...
"YOU PROMISED YOU WOULDN'T LEAVE US LIKE THE REST DID. YOU PROMISED-"
--- --- --- --- ---
Looking back on it, maybe the reason Jimin kept it was because he knew deep down how hard it must've been for Mr Han to leave.
But after all this time and the promise to meet again which never happened, he didn't see why he should keep his.
Mr Han stayed until Jimin was six and left a week before his seventh birthday.
After Mr Han left one by one everyone else slowly did, all but Jimin.
He had to admit he held a grudge towards the older, but he also had to thank him and be grateful for the memories he gave him.
He was the closest thing Jimin had to a father and he left, but if he didn't he'd have had to give up his dream - something an a lot younger Jimin wouldn't have understood but the mature one did.
.
.
.
Jimin thought to himself 'it was just a childish promise to watch his back and keep me safe. I'm an adult now I know better... what's the worst that could happen if I were to maybe... go outside at night?'
