Part 13: Break

It had been a solid twenty minutes of silence and Jimin was still frozen so Yoongi decided to ask "Are you doing okay?" not sure if it was because he was scared of being lifted, pain, or something else.

Jimin nodded his head and tried to hide his face in Yoongi's neck but failed because the position they were in was awkward.

Yoongi noticed so asked the other "Do you want to take a break?" getting another small nod in response.

Yoongi nodded back and walked a bit further until he got to a stump which was one of the marker points his pack used to know where they were.

Jimin said a small "Thank you." and pulled his shirt over his face since he wanted to hide how red it was.

Yoongi decided not to question it as it just meant he didn't have to hide his own as he sat on the floor near Jimin's feet.

He took note on the fact Jimin seemed okay as long as his leg wasn't bent or touched near his knee meaning if he was to carry Jimin like a baby he probably would be more comfortable, it'd also be easier and quicker and he wouldn't have to worry about Jimin seeing his face.

Yoongi let out a soft sigh before gently saying "For the rest of the way back i'm gonna carry you on my hip because it'll be easier, okay?" not having the energy to keep up his cold front and giving in to his natural soft spot for the other.

The soft spot the other didn't know about.

Jimin said a high pitch, quiet "Okay." back not exactly how he was going to handle it or get control of himself.

He'd honestly never felt that way before and it wasn't helping to the flustered affect of it all.

So he just said "I'm ready to leave when you are." getting a nod from Yoongi who got up and said "Let's go then."

Jimin popped his head up from in his shirt as Yoongi crouched down in front of him and both just paused and looked at each other for a minute.

Neither breaking eye contact.

Jimin quietly said "You have pretty eyes..." getting a soft chuckle from Yoongi who casually said back "You have a pretty face." making Jimin's face go bright red and look away.

Yoongi held his arms out and sweetly said "Come on." in a kind and inviting voice making Jimin feel less awkward and more flustered by it.

Jimin reached forward and pulled Yoongi closer to him, wrapping his own arms around the others neck as he used his good leg for support as Yoongi lifted him up.

Jimin's injured leg dangled down and Yoongi had a arm supporting Jimin from under him and the other securely holding his back.

And both had to admit, they it was more comfortable compared to the other way but that was probably because Yoongi had to carry Jimin weirdly because of his leg.

This time they spoke more with the walls Yoongi built between coming down.

Jimin quietly called out "Yoongi?" getting an equally as quiet "Yes Jimin?" in return.

Jimin paused for a moment before reluctantly asking "How old are you?" wanting to start a conversation but not wanting to seem like a bore.

Yoongi could sense his reluctance so tried to make him more comfortable by answering "I'm nineteen, and you?" not thinking it was fair to push his problems on Jimin.

Jimin answered "Seventeen... does this mean I should call you hyung?" still sounding uncertain but with more confidence.

Yoongi smiled softly at that fact and answered "You can call me whatever you want." Causing Jimin to come up with names.

"Even... hmm i'd say Agust but the tough guy persona seems just like an act... so whats a secret softy's name..."

Yoongi chuckled before answering "SeokJin." making Jimin giggle too before saying "No offense to Jin hyung but he doesn't seem like a tough guy... he seems like a protective parent who's secretly a bad ass."

Yoongi nodded in agreement but said "I suppose your right there but then again you've never seen Jin hyung when it came to sharing food." getting Jimin to nod to and say "Very true, but then again I wouldn't share my food either."

Yoongi pouted cutely as he asked "Not even with me?" getting a fit of giggles from Jimin who cooed "Fineeee~ with one exception." getting a sweet "Thank you." back.

Jimin was still trying to brains storm names so said "Your welcome... Suga..." which confused Yoongi, repeating back "Sugar?"

Jimin shook his head as he said "Nope SugA. Like sugar but swag and chill." causing Yoongi to chuckle and admit "I don't think that'll stick."

Jimin agreed and mumbled to himself "Me neither... it doesn't stand out like Agust."

Yoongi thought back to the time they met when they were younger seeing that the name wasn't a coincidence so asked "What's your obsession with that name?"

Jimin hummed softly before explaining "I used to share a room with this kid and his birthday was in August and for it he got this mixtape which was edgy and cool but it only had one letter on. D. And the rest was scribbled out so I, being the humble genius I am, came up with Agust D for the sickest mixtape of my childhood."

Finding out more about Jimin was nice and it also made things make sense so he confessed "Actually that's a sweet story, i'll let your weird obsession slide." getting Jimin to giggle again.

Jimin replied "Thank you~ I think i'm gonna call you Yoongles, or Yooni." trying to decide when Yoongi proposed "Why not spice it up and change it. A constant surprise."

Jimin smiled happily at that idea and said "Min Suga Genius. Your so smart." before laughing his head off as Yoongi mumbled "And back to the Sugaaaa..." with a fake sigh.
