Jimin was reluctant for the first few nights since he'd made his decision, so he made a promise to himself that he'd do it by the next full moon.

Unfortunately when he made that promise he didn't take into account the moon cycle which meant he had to do it by that night 'no pressure.'

'If I can't keep a promise to myself how can I expect others too?' Being the only thing that ran through his mind when he eventually realised.

And with that thought it was decided, he was going out once it got dark.

.

.

.

Hours went by and an anxious feeling built up inside Jimin's stomach as he stayed looking out of the window in his room.

It was pleasant at first, watching as the trees swayed and the wildlife roamed, even seeing a few bunnies hopping around in the back garden area which backed onto the forest.

But as time went on that pleasant feeling changed to anxiety.

It wasn't the case of anxiety of being outside but more of anxiety of breaking his promise, he had a golden heart and breaking the promise felt wrong no matter how stupid it was.

When the night eventually came Jimin was a conflicted mess but still slid on a hoodie over his clothes from earlier that day and went downstairs.

He managed to get all the way to the door before he froze again, but this time not because of anxiety, because of something he saw.

He rubbed his eyes and then looked again and it was gone.

He could've sworn he saw two sparkling orbs in the bushes but when he looked back they were gone.

He put it down to his paranoia and anxiety getting to him and went to go outside again but decided to take his time.

He didn't want to rush it.

He began by opening the door and standing in the frame for a while before eventually moving to the step.

It was peaceful.

The night sky was even prettier outside.

Jimin didn't even realise it but he was smiling.

The cold winter breeze ran through his hair pushing it back from his face and Jimin's smile only grew.

He always loved being outside but he had to admit there was something magical and serene about being out in the dark when there was a clear night sky.

Jimin took a few steps forward away from the house as he continued to look up at the sky feeling more confidence when a particularly strong gust of wind caused something to slam shut.

Jimin froze, hoping it was just a window but knowing the likely hood it wasn't.

But he still hoped.

He turned around slowly as he prayed to himself that the back door hadn't just slammed shut behind him, scrunching his eyes shut as he did so.

He peeked one eye open and let out a frustrated sigh when what he hoped didn't happen was confirmed.

"Okay. It's okay. Absolutely fine. I'm not angry. Nope not at all. I only what? Broke my promise that I've kept for years and then get locked out. I guess karma exists. Who knows what's going to happen now. I'll probably, I don't know, get hunted and eaten by the wolves like Mr Han always said."

Jimin carried on ranting as he turned around and sat on the step.

So lost in his ranting he didn't notice the shimmering orbs which were watching him from in the forest.

"I bet no one will even answer the door if I scream. I remember the time they locked the newbie out and wouldn't let them in until I shouted at them all... this'll probably be payback. Asfjkehehwhshaj."

Jimin pulled his hair in frustration then pouted and yelped when a sudden pain shot through his head.

Jimin buried his face in his hands wanting to cry and regretting his decision since he was a sensitive boy and it was all too much for him.

But he didn't cry.

Instead he froze on the spot feeling something press against his hand.
