Part 25: Scent

Yoongi and Jimin both shot up from the floor when there was loud banging coming from the front door.

They both looked at each other confused as Yoongi mumbled "No one is supposed to be out." with slight annoyance in his voice.

He got up to go to the door and Jimin followed behind.

The banging didn't stop until Yoongi finally opened the door.

"MIN YOONGI!" Was all that was heard followed by a thud.

Jimin stood still as he looked at the scene in front of him which was actually pretty impressive.

Jin was on top of Yoongi shaking him around with Namjoon trying to pull him off saying "Their fine, don't hurt hyung. Don't hurt our alpha."

Yoongi was just letting it happen, confused but somewhat not surprised.

He only spoke up when something Jin said caught his attention.

"What was that about my scent?"

Both paused for a minute and looked at each other until Jin's face turned red in disbelief yelling "You heard me Min-"

Before Jin could say anything else Namjoon pulled him up and shouted "KIM SEOKJIN!" to finally get his attention.

Jin blushed under his intense stare and sweetly said "Yes Joonie?" knowing the likely ending of the situation.

Namjoon let out a frustrated sigh at the elder but kissed his head anyways before turning apologetically to Yoongi and said "Yoongi hyung, you may or may not have realised it but it's heat and rut season for our pack. You know what that means?"

Yoongi's eyes widened slightly before he replied "Our hormones are fucked and so is Jin."

Namjoon smirked as Jin's face turned red, about to scold Yoongi but got cut off by said leader who said "One, it's true. Two, i'm the leader of the pack. Your lucky I haven't punished you for that attack. Thirdly, Joon. Use protection unless you want pups then go wild."

Namjoon went to say something but Jin shushed him before he could and walked over taking Jimin's hand.

"Okay you'll both have control for now but the deeper you get into it the less control you'll have. And with ruts it's barely any to begin with so ya. Jimin here doesn't need to deal with what i'm sure he doesn't understand yet and purely because of Yoongi's comment and Namjoon's smirk, you can both stay together and be all moody and me and Jiminie here will go to mine and Namjoon's house and talk."

"But-"

"No buts Yoongi, and none for you Namjoon. Now Jiminie do you need to get anything?" Jin asked in a much softer voice.

Jimin looked at Yoongi who looked sad before reluctantly shaking his head.

Jin saw the slight sadness in both of their eyes but he knew it was for the better, plus Namjoon needed a reminder that Jin was the boss.

Jin turned too the two other men and gave them a warning look as he strictly instructed "You two, this house. No leaving, follow storm rules and don't kill each other." before turning to Jimin with a softer expression and said "Jiminie my sweet angel, your with me until the worse of it's over or until I can get you home safely."

Jimin nodded and took Jin's hand which was extended towards him before waving goodbye too the two other boys.

He didn't really want to leave but he could tell that it was probably serious due to the fact Jin actually jumped Yoongi and looked panicked and mad.

So they both left hand in hand to the Kim household.

A plot twist unforeseen and realistic in the sense the most random stuff happens, and maybe it happens for a reason.
