Part 5: Panic

After an unknown time of venturing through the woods the wolf finally started to slow down.

Jimin wasn't sure if that was because they were where ever they were going or if the wolf noticed Jimin's heavy breathing and obvious panic but he was grateful either way.

That was until he heard low growls coming from around them.

Only two things ran through his mind 'I should've asked if it's friends would eat me.' and 'Shit.'

Jimin wanted to get off and run away but he knew he had no where to run too so he stayed put.

Trying his best to hide the burst of fear from the unexpected twist of events which he was too naive to even think about.

The wolf he was sitting on started growling back, capturing Jimin's attention and making him look up again.

Something he instantly regretted.

They were surrounded.

Jimin could tell the wolf he was sitting on was scared but still holding it's ground so he thought he might as well try too.

He got up off of the wolf causing the wolf to look at him panicked but he just petted it's head and say "It's okay. You try and get away."wanting someone to at least survive the situation they were in.

But the wolf still stood it's ground, both feeding off of the others confidence.

Jimin looked up at the moon before chuckling looking back down at the slightly confused, and intimidated, wolves who were all looking at him expectantly.

Jimin took a step forward picking up a branch off the floor and then swung it around realising it caught one of the wolves attentions making him smirk.

He patted his wolf friends side in the direction of that wolf, both getting the idea before Jimin remounted it's back.

"One...Two... Three... FETCH WOLFIE!"

Jimin launched the stick in a random direction, holding on tightly as the other wolves began moving forward chasing them, all but the one who gave them an opening in hopes of a stick.

The wolf and Jimin ran and ran until they arrived back at a familiar building making the other wolves stop at the bushes watching and clearly irritated

Jimin was in hysterics and the other was panting tiredly but looked happy at what they'd been able to achieve before plopping down on the floor causing Jimin to climb off.

He ruffled the wolf's fur and said "Good job." before planting himself down next to the other, watching the other wolves as they one by one slowly left.

Jimin proudly smiled when the final one left and let the wolf move closer to him keeping him warm.

Then they both drifted off to sleep.
