What awaits..?

Angel had brought Devika to a near by hospital, they brought her into the surgery room, he sighned some documents and stuff they requested him to do in that hospital. After they brought her into the surgery room and he did what he had been asked to do at the hospital, he actually left and went to wait for Sir Pentious to come and kick his ass like the usual, during the surgery.

~A couple of hours later.~
There was nothing. Angel had waited HOURS, but no snake!
He wondered why.. Till he soon noticed an Exterminator.. "Oh, shit!" He softly said to himself and ran off, trying to get away from the horned angel. Luckily, the Exterminators were far from him, so he can easily escape and hide off somewhere. Now he knew well why the snake didn't come, he was probably hiding from the Exterminators, or changed directions to avoid them.. Or both.. Guess Angel will fight snake ass some other time.

*Meanwhile.*
The doctors had treated and patched up Devika's wounds, she had quite a lot of stiches all over her body, she was a wounded and stiched mess. It was surprising to the doctors even on how she managed to survive the wolves' attack, or the surgery even.. But she almost did die on the surgical table however. A few times they struggled to bring her back, but luckily they managed to save her in the end.

Angel managed to get back to the hospital, unoticed from those Exterminators. "Damn! No wonder why that snake ain't here yet! Meh.." He went in to check on Devika, relieved that he didn't have to deal with actual angels. Who knew. There was probably an army of Exterminators out there. No way was he dealing with that bullshit!

Devika was sleeping, on the hospital bed, Angel soon entered the room she was in. He frowned a little when he saw in what condition she was in.. He let out a soft sigh, and closed the door behind him. He took a small chair and sits on it, crossing his arms and legs as he rested his back on the backrest of the chair, waiting for her to wake up as he was starting to think about certain things...

Angel was thinking about Mimzy. He knew well why she did all of that. It wasn't the first time she did it also. He was a witness. That was one of the reasons why they stopped being friends also.. ONE. There were a couple of more.. Angel always thought that her doing that because of getting her pride hurt was bullshit to him. He just hoped right now if Devika woke up, she wasn't gonna see a certain something that he thought that he prevented, but sadly, he didn't.. But he knew well that she was gonna find out about it sooner or later... People were already talking and laughing about it...

Flashback.

Angel waited and waited for Sir Pentious, but nohing was happening at all for the past two hours... Angel was growing sooooooo bored, he himself couldn't believe that he had waited for so long just to stop that stupid snake from causing trouble! ..That and Angel loved to mess with him... And he had nothing better to do also. But nothing! He was wondering if he was gonna come here anyway! Or was he already here, but hiding? Angel decided to go around and check it out if he was indeed somewhere around and hiding.. But he didn't find him anywhere.

Angel was walking around to see if Pentious was hiding somewhere, but nothing. He groaned and eventually stopped by a small bar for a drink, he felt a little tired after his search for that dumb snake.. The TV was on 666 News, Angel ignored if of course...

"Good afternoon, everyone! I'm Katy Killjoy. Katy proudly gestured at herself after introducing herself in front of the TV. "And I'm Tom Trench!" Tom said. "Today we have quite the interesting news about out fellow Heart Breaker and Black Widow!" Katy stated. "Who is well known by the name Devika Charmeena!" Tom said. Once Devika's name was mentioned. Angel turned his head to the TV, raising a brow, NOW paying full attention to the news.

"The well known Heart Breaker and Black Widow herself, who always had the ability to charm males under her spell. Lost her shape it seems, after getting brutally attacked by shadow wolves!" Katy said with that typical big grin of her's. "As you can see in the clip-" Tom was saying as a clip of Devika getting attacked by the shadow wolves was shown. he was trying to fight them, but sadly to her, she was losing and failing misrably to defend herself against them, Her sreams in pain and agony were heard as the wolves were clawing and biting on her hard. Angel was shocked to see that video when the thought that he destroyed all of the cameras.

"As you can see in the clip. Devika Charmeena had no chance against them!" Tom finished as the clip went on. Katy spoke. "Which is rather surprising because we have all witnesed on how well of a fighter she is, and how she kicked all kinds of male's asses! Our beloved heart breaker has indeed lost shape it seems!" Katy said as she chuckled afterwards. Angel tightly squeezed onto his glass and soon after a few seconds, he broke the glass of booze he had asked for, as he glared onto the TV. "Well, this will effect her reputation as the Heart Breaking Black Widow.." Tom said. I mean, they're just stupid shadow mutts! Who can't fight those!" Katy said, being the typical bitch that she is.

Angel was about to take his gun out and shoot the TV, but it was pointless, everyone at the bar heard it all. Most of them were chuckling or laughing even, some didn't care however. "I can't believe that! D-Devika got her ass easily kicked by a few mangy mutts!? Bahahaha! What a joke!" One of the demons at the bar said. Another spoke after him. "Yeah! Did ya see how easily she let herself become dog food!?" "Totally!" He answered the other person. "Hey! Those were fucking SHADOW wolves! Not regular ones, you dumb fucks!" Angel shouted. "Who gives a damn! That bitch fough against a ton of demons since she got here, yet she couldn't beat up a few dumb mutts! Shadow or not!" A random demon said. "Yeah! Hahah!" Another said, Angel growled angrily and left the bar after he threw the glass shards in his hand at them. "Hey! What the fuck, man!?" Shouted a random demon while the others just grunted and glared at Angel after he threw the shards from his broken glass.

Angel angrily huffed, but after a while he was starting to get a little nervous. How was he going to explain all of this to Devika? He knew well that once he went back to that hospital and she woke up, finding about all of this, she was probably gonna freak! This was all.. Just way to humiliating.. He felt kinda bad for her at one point..

End of Flashback.

Angel just sat there, thinking and staring at Devika. He was just hoping that her wounds heal before she woke up. Literally, she looked like a Zombie, and he knew how much Devika loved her looks. And if she saw how she currently looked like.. Angel was literally gonna go deaf.. He groaned, hoping that wouldn't happen... 

It's been a few hours now, Angel was starling to feel sleepy... "Ugh.." He grunted softly, then moved his chair close to her bed. He rested his arms next to her, then layed his head down, and tried to get some sleep. It was a long day today.. And it might be longer tomorrow.. He so hoped not..
