And it's suitable for this chapter.. Or the beginning at least..

Trust me, I didn't want there to be too much back story either.. But shit happens, and my brain is a bitch and so are my hands for listening to it.. Even when I don't want to..

It's been more than 3 years now..

Devika has been living her life, hanging out with Cora and the clown sisters, going to places and helping them. They were her first friends.. Mainly Cora, because the clown sisters were often busy sewing, or to tired to hang around or just busy with their own things, but they do try to find time for Devika and Cora. Cora of course got attached to Devika, it wasn't because of her promise towards Vox, but also as a person. She grew to like Devika as a sister.

In her free time however, or whenever she get's the chance, even when hanging out with Cora, she tried to find a way to find Sir Pentious and get to him, she badly wanted to meet him. Devika realized that she had fallen for him.. And it was quite deeper than she thought.. Even though she never met him. Cora and the clown sisters often tease her about her little crush on him after finding out that she was inlove with him. How they found out? When she watched the News with him on it and she ended up forgetting once that they were around, so she looked and sighed love sickly.. That's when they caught her. 

"Oh Hell no! You actually have the Hots for the snake!?" Miranda said. "N-no!" Devika denied, then looked away, with a mad blush on her face. "That blush says otherwise~" Cora said. "I-I don't like him! I.. I just look like this often!" Devika said. She was still in denial. "Oh suuuure! That's what they ALWAYS say!" Cora said with a big grin on her face. Devika hisses as she glared at her, but froze with slight wide eyes when Miranda began to happily sing. "Devika and Sir Pentious!~ Sitting in a tree!~ K.I.S.S.I.N.G.!~" After that, Devika screamed in anger, causing the clown sisters and Cora to lean back/away a little from her, getting a bit startled by her sudden scream. Devika then covered her madly blushing face with her hands, whining and groaning, she felt so awfully embarrassed. Cora and the clown sisters laughed after that.

But as time went on, and Devika looked for the snake, no one was helping.. Not even Cora much. Cora tried to look like she was helping, but she was mostly leading Devika into the wrong way.. She wanted to keep her promise that she made for her Voxy. She wanted him to be happy.. But she also wanted Devika to be happy.. She didn't know what to do, so she often said that she had no idea where she was supposed to go or what to do, she didn't want to be involved anymore, she felt guilty when she led her in the wrong way..

The clown sisters had no idea about Cora's plans and that she led Devika in the wrong way. The two tried to help her as possible, but truelly, they never knew where Pentious was at, due to him traveling a lot with his airship around Hell to take over new teritory. They gave her information on his where abouts very few times only because they figured it all out. But she always ends up there to late, or something stops her, like some random idiot demon/s for example, who were often her fanboys and she couldn't get away from them easily without a fight.. As she usually does to most of her fanboys that dare push their luck. The Black Widow strikes again, you could say..

Devika tried to ask around some random demons, but they always laugh about it, and often insult him, or said that she shouldn't bother, he'll never love or treat her right. Some ignored her, not bothering with her, others who were more polite and careless often told her that they didn't know, or een if they knew. The result was still the same, she was either to late, or something stopped her from going or slowed her down.. However, there was a time where she made it in time, he almost left, but she would have catched onto him, but one of Cherri Bomb's bombs blew up close to her which caused her to pass out once something hit her in the head causing her to pass out for a little, and no one knew that she was there..
