Let me tell you a story about of two mages that always wanted to get out of the community they are in and explore. The first is an 18 yr. Old male named Claide, he doesn't show his opposition to the community explicitly but he knows that the mages are facing a serious problem. The second is a 17 yr. Old male named Edmon, he is very supportive and explicit of the opposition against the RCHM. He would actively join rallys and secret organizations. Because of this he would almost always get in trouble bringing his friend Claide with him into the messes he made.
Claide was standing in the street under a lamp post because he was waiting for a bus to go home when suddenly Edmon ran towards him.
"Claide! Run! Come on!", Edmon screamed at Claide.
"Wait! what?!!", Claide replied in a confused tone.
Then shouts were heard from the direction where Edmon came from.
"YOU LITTLE BASTARD! YOU CAN'T RUN FOREVER!"
After hearing the loud shouts Claide started to run as well.
"Oh...god what did you do nowww???", Claide asked while running.
"No time to explain we need to find a hiding place now.", Edmon answered.
They were starting to get tired when they found a dark ally way with a gate. They hoped over the gate and hid in the dark. The people chasing them passed through the dark ally way. Both sighed in relief.
"Edmon....What the hell did you do now????", Claide asked.
"I just did some art in the walls near the chief's station near the park.", Edmon replied while smirking.
"Art??.....you did graffiti on the walls again did you?", Claide answered sarcastically.
"Maybee......", Edmon asnwered while smiling.
After a few minutes the two hopped the gate again and walked home through the darkness to prevent the officers seeing them again.
They arrived at Edmon's house.
"You should really stop doing this you know? I know you live alone and everything, having the freedom to do all those things while still getting funds from your parents. Be glad you were not caught.", Claide said.
"Like they will ever catch me. Plus I had the mask on so they don't knoe it's me. I'm a sort of vigilante.", Edmond replied in a cocky tone.
"Suree...just be careful next time and plleeeaassee don't get me involved ok?", Edmond said in a worried tone.
"You understand why I'm doing this right?....They put my father into jail Claide..for what?! Just because he published a simple article that tackled the unfairness of the governance here he was already caught and put into the correctional facility!", Edmond said in an angry tone.
"Yeah....I know..but you dad wouldn't want you to end up in the same place he is. That place is a literal hell hole and you know that.", Claide replied.
"I plan to break him out...and then leave here. Maybe there is something more out there...a place where mages like us are treated equally..maybe even just a society full of mages.", Edmon said.
"Look...we just live in a sector of this society. We were born here and our whole lives we only managed to explore this sector. Who knows how many sectors are out there. Probably hundreds.", Claide replied.
"But we wouldn't know unless we try. After I break him out we will make a plan to get out of here. My dad would always talk over the phone about the exit the leads to the outside of this city. I would rather risk it rather than rotting in here and leaving my dad to rot also.", Edmon argued.
"Think about this...how are you even gonna break in the correctional facility? Yet you still have to reach the so called exit of this place.", Claide answered.
"I don't need this from you. If you don't want to get involved then just leave. What lies ahead maybe unknown but I will risk it anyways.", Edmon said while leaving the room.
".....Edmon..look..I'm sorry. I'll go now.", Claide replied in a soft sad-like tone.
Edmon held a picture of him, her mother and father together.
"We will get out...", Edmon whispered.
